Just 3 blocks from the town square, restored gem featuring rustic wood flooring and decor, contrasting modern finishes, neutral tones, 11 ft. ceilings, cozy beds and a covered front porch. Stroll to eats, drinks and shops to experience Franklin's full charm! Built in 1892, Rufus and Mattie Vaughan's old place nestled among beautiful historic homes of downtown Franklin

This fabulous house accommodates 4 people maximum & offers two beautiful king bedrooms, each with its own bathroom featuring a shower and the other with shower/bathtub. No detail has been overlooked in this charming home. Guests will enjoy luxury linens and towels, robes, washer/dryer, AC, and WiFi.

Although we love kids and pets, this home is not set up for either so we respectfully ask that you book for adults only, no children and no pets.

The home was very cute had everything we needed and walking distance to the little town of Franklin. You need to be an early riser or hard sleeper though with the train going right past the house (you could practically touch it) at 8:30am and other various times (thankfully not during the night) and the traffic in front of the house (since it's busy and all cars go over the train tracks which makes it especially more noisy) made it hard to use the master bedroom since that room was closest to the road noise and train. There are also no heavy curtains so bring a sleep mask. Luckily we travel with those. Amy was easy to communicate and other than the cleaning people mistakenly showing up a day earlier thinking we had left already (mistakes happen), it was a pleasant stay.

Thanks for booking with me. Most people including me find the train charming and nostalgic (per all the reviews). I think saying you can hardly use the primary is a tad dramatic & 100% inaccurate. The bedroom also has blackout shades. The train is not super early in the morning and never late at night and the traffic is rush hour. You should probably consider staying in the country in the future rather than booking a downtown home. This house has nothing but great reviews and the location is spectacular. I make every effort to provide the best experience possible for my guests.

A perfect place to stay for any Franklin visit. Charming well decorated and stocked house in a perfect location. Easy walking to restaurants, bars, shops and live music. It truly was everything we were looking for. Great for two couples. We had a fantastic time!

Pleasantly surprised at how clean and comfortable this home was. Located across from a nice park and three block walk to downtown main street. It is situated next to train tracks and it runs twice a day most days, but that didn't bother us.
