We nicknamed our stay the Tree House and the name did not disappoint! The most peaceful and beautiful property I have ever been in! It’s truly something out of a dream/movie. Every aspect of this property and stay was wonderful and as advertised.

Wanda was a brilliant hostess! She took care of every need as I booked a surprise honeymoon weekend for my daughter. They met them at the property to welcome them and be sure that everything was as they needed it to be. They even delivered a deluxe charcuterie board to the patio for them the following day. Every detail was attended to. Highly recommend!

This is by far one of the cutest places I have ever stayed. The hosts were wonderful and so sweet. Being able to sit on the porch and listen to the waterfall was so peaceful. I couldn’t recommend this place more!

The sign says - This Must be The Place. It is all true. With the laurel blanketing the surroundings, the cozy quaint tree house looks as if it belongs there. With an unmatched coziness, and everything you need in a beautiful mountain environment, our stay was amazing. Wanda and Shelley were helpful and gracious. They offered help when needed and also gave us plenty of privacy, we also took many of their suggestions regarding hikes, dining out, etc. If you want to truly “unplug” and escape into the quiet of the woods in luxurious accommodations a this is it!

Very clean home, so pet friendly, incredible hosts, great overall experience. This is a tree house with a detached bathroom, ladder to the bed, and semi aggressive drive up a gravel road. If you’re good with all of that, fully recommend. The tree house was magical and the waterfall off the front porch added to the ambiance. It was so peaceful and quiet. We spent most of our time here outside in the hot tub, the freshly laundered hammock chairs, and the porch. The outdoor shower is also a great add in the remote place! The hosts couldn’t have been better. Great communication to make sure we had everything we needed and our stay was perfect. They were kind people and willing to share some hiking and destination recommendations. My wife and I will 100% return in the future!

Alice in Wonderland Treehouse Tea Party Vibes

This was an amazing adventure for me and my girlfriend! We stayed here as a birthday getaway so I could force myself to disconnect from work and other things. The lack of cell service for sure helped with that. With that in mind! Save you gate code and dont rely on your email. Write it down or screen shot it or else you're going to have quite the hike ahead of you. Haha I learned the hard way so you dont have to! The hosts of the property put a lot of love and care into this place and it shows! They pay attention to the finer details and thats something I appreciate dearly. Upon entering the treehouse there was a cute little birthday banner and 2 little cupcakes in glass domes sitting on the counter. It made everything feel very storybook and I couldnt have been happier with this experience. To conclude this rather long review, if you want to feel like you're staying in a storybook, or one of those a!r-bnb commercials with the little 3D house then THIS is the place! Thats the best way I can describe it, OH! Or like you're on a Wes Anderson set/movie! The guy who directed Fantastic Mr. Fox. This adventure isn't for everyone though, it feels like this is designed perfectly for the right type of adventurous person. So do keep that in mind!

Lovely getaway! We spent 2 days here and I was not ready to leave! The treehouse is clean and cozy, and well equipped with all tiny home kitchen supplies. The bed/mattress was a dream! It was a great place to relax and unwind. The nearby waterfall added to the ambiance, too - it sounded like it was raining any time the doors were open. There were a few special touches that added to the experience. The charcuterie offering was so incredible we half-joked that we should have requested it both nights. Also, the AT/Appalachian Trail is nearby though I didn't see it advertised. If staying here, Laurel Fork Falls is not to be missed!

Wonderful experience! We were treated with the upmost respect - we includes our fur-baby! Some people are less than friendly when you arrive with a Great Dane, but not this time. When we shared that our 'pup' (5 years old) was well behaved and that we are respectable pet owners and respectable people in general, there were no further questions - simply trust and respect. We were also pleased with the cleanliness and accommodations by our kind host. The experience compares to a fairy tale get-away. The decor was right up our alley as well! We look forward to being able to visit again in the future!
