Amazing Property
This property is beautiful! It’s private and had a TON of stuff to do for every age! We hiked, explored, fished, and played a lot of cornhole! The house was clean and stocked with everything you could possibly need! The host was super nice and communication was excellent! Definitely would love to go back when it’s warmer to do the river float! Thank you for the memories Fox Creek!

Wonderful Stay, Highly Recommended
We had a wonderful stay. The cabin is spacious and has a wonderful common area. We loved staying up talking by the fire and the kitchen is well stocked with dishes and pots. We had a really lovely visit and I hope we can come back again.

Perfect tradition
This year we celebrated my mom's 60th birthday. We have made fox creek a new tradition and each year it seems to be more perfect.

Love Fox Creek Lodge!
This is our second time staying with Fox Creek Lodge and we enjoyed it thoroughly. This year we were able to use the nice outdoor pavilion as well as enjoyed a couple hours at the riverside location. This lodge suited our needs perfectly.

Annual pre-holiday getaway
Overall we had a great time! The downstairs area is cozy and the kitchen was extremely well appointed! We loved the remote location and the kids had a great time exploring. Two of the rooms were much smaller than expected but we made it work. The kids loved the loft, as it gave them their own space. Overall, it was a great trip and we enjoyed our stay. The owners were very nice and quick to respond with any questions we had, which was truly appreciated. Thank you!

We love traveling internationally and domestically! We have rented many Airbnb’s. So, in 2015 it was time to buy and host our own in beautiful Shenandoah Valley!

Why they chose this property

This property is beautiful with its unique 35 acre lot with an unusual home. There are 3 trails crisscrossing the front half of the property and a great lookout spot at the top of the hill! Its close to skiing, hiking, the Shenandoah river and wineries!

What makes this property unique

Nestled in a hollow on 35 acres. Enjoy the seasonal pond and railroad from the front balcony. Private driveway through a railroad tunnel.

The railroad passing by the property was completed by the Shenandoah railroad in 1867. The tunnel on the property is believed to be that old. Although, the train does not whistle as it passes by, you can feel/hear it's power throughout the property as it steams down the tracks. It is an enjoyable sight to see!

The home and property are always being improved upon.
