Book the whole of Lumière: two luxury safari tents, each with its own king bed, ensuite and outdoor kitchen, on a private waterfront acre in St. Lucia. Perfect for two couples, family or friends.

THE WHOLE PROPERTY IS YOURS
Both safari tents, the infinity pool, beach, sunset deck and gardens, private to your group.

THE TENTS
Two 320 sq ft octagonal safari tents, handcrafted in South Africa by Exclusive Tents, each on 1,500 sq ft of deck. Both have 14' ceilings, a ceiling fan, six floor-to-ceiling netted windows for cross breezes, and AC available with clear window coverings.

Each tent includes:
• Four-poster king bed with luxury white linens and bedside reading lamps
• Ensuite bathroom with river-rock sink, mahogany vanity, toilet and wardrobe with safe
• Private garden shower
• Outdoor kitchen and mahogany bar: gas BBQ with griddle and fish basket, mini-fridge, sink, air fryer, blender, toaster, coffee maker and cookware
• Projector with 100" screen for films outdoors or on the tent ceiling

• Glass front door opens onto the private 22' saltwater infinity pool with open sea views
• Poolside dining table, umbrellas and sun loungers
• Coral-stone garden shower, LED pool lights, ice maker and Bluetooth speaker
• Grassy lawn under a shady almond tree, with a path down to the Water's Edge Tent

THE WATER'S EDGE TENT
• Perched over the sea on the lower corner of the property, privately set apart from the Pool Tent by lush tropical gardens
• Cantilevered sunken cushion lounge and oversized sunpad
• Garden shower with an ocean view
• Swing bar chairs and a wraparound deck with views from every angle
• Boardwalk to the pool, sunset deck and beach

THE PROPERTY
• Guests-only white-sand beach with loungers and hammock
• Beach stairs straight into the sea
• Protected snorkelling cove with reef fish, coral and the occasional turtle; gear and paddle boards included
• 24' sunset deck just above the water, with plantation chairs and a rinse shower
• Natural pebble beach for shells and sea glass
• Orchard with mango, avocado, citrus, cocoa, passion fruit and more
• Washing machine for guest use
• Secure gated parking for 3 vehicles
• Our gardener, Geleni, is on site weekdays to help with luggage and pick fresh coconuts

A glamping experience in a tropical paradise.The garden, full of fruit trees and flowering shrubs is beautiful.The tent and outdoor kitchen provide everything you need.A short walk to some restaurants on the beach and a little further to the Massy, but quite doable.

When I tell you my inner child was having a full on meltdown when my adult self had to leave... This place is incredible, the people, the views, the sounds, the privacy, the calm, the nature. Extremely well done. Bravo to the host and caretakers. We will be forever grateful for this stay.

Stay at Lumiere with 2 of our best friends for the week. Amazing time and place!! Chad (owner) was extremely accommodating and communicative with us the whole time. The “tent experience “ was 1st class and would recommend it to anyone coming to St Lucia! The referral Chad gave us for a transfer service was also incredible. Brad (owner) of Simple Transfers was very professional, courteous, punctual and very trustworthy. He was there when we needed him theoughout the journey. Can’t wait to return soon! - Chris

Total Paradise!!

Lumiere is total paradise!! Such an incredible private oasis with a stunning view of the ocean and the sunset. We stayed here for 5 nights and loved every minute of it!! Chad has thought of everything, down to the tiniest detail! We were so close to Vigie beach and Castries, but really didn’t want to leave our private paradise. Thank you Chad for creating a beautiful oasis!! We will never forget our time at Lumiere

Luxury glamping at its best

We absolutely loved the property. It’s the best place to unwind and it was my favorite place on the north side of the island. It’s exactly as pictured. I appreciated all the little touches from mint tea to toothpaste and more. The kitchen area was well equipped. The tent, deck, pool and garden were all designed with an attention to detail. We loved watching the cruise ships pass by. It was quite a show.

My stay was absolutely fabulous. Expect for.. hindsight I thought it was irregular that the property was unlocked a couple of times after our day out in town. I’d placed most of valuables in safe except for a Jade beaded anklet I’ve been wearing for 30 yrs..has vanished from night stand. Not holding owner responsible.. ugly things happen. Just letting you know. I had an awesome stay

Evet, we are sorry to hear that your personal item went missing during your stay at Lumière. Our staff are conscientious about identifying and returning items upon check out that may have been misplaced or forgotten by guests during their stay. We take implications of theft seriously and enforce the highest standards regarding trustworthiness and accountability. Reviewing our external security camera footage did not show any outsiders coming or going from the property entrances throughout the duration of your stay, other than unregistered guests it appeared you had invited in on several occasions. Had we been alerted to the missing item prior to this review, we certainly would have investigated the matter swiftly. We do have ground staff who require occasional access to the property as is noted on our policy description. A safe is provided for the use of ALL valuables, along with lockable entrances to be used as normal precautionary measures. It is heartening to see that you enjoyed your stay, offering a five star review despite the lost item. We want to assure other guests that Lumiere is a safe and peaceful property with no other reports of loss to speak of.

Fantastic!

We were a bit hesitant as it was a new listing but we were so impressed with everything. The "tent" was certainly much more than that; it didn't even seem like a tent! The king bed was very comfortable with excellent linens.The outdoor shower was like a spa experience. The outdoor kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed to cook meals. Thought we might need the AC but the ocean breezes changed our minds. The property is so large that you feel secluded but are not far from town. We enjoyed seeing the cruise ships come and go from the port every day. We did rent a car but the small airport is very close with many taxis available for hire. Dayna was a great help in getting us familiar with the property. It was so very relaxing and calming, wish we had stayed for longer than the 4 nights! One of our top VRBO experiences!

Our stay at this property was nothing short of perfect! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a peaceful and private atmosphere that instantly made us feel at ease. The property was exactly as described—if not better!One of our favorite moments was soaking in the tranquility by the pool, completely immersed in the serene surroundings. We were initially a little skittish about being near the entry to the cruise ship port, but it turned out to be a non-issue. In fact, it became an unexpected source of entertainment, watching the ships come and go without it ever feeling intrusive.Originally, we had planned a couple of trips to local attractions and beaches, but once we settled in, we realized we didn’t want to leave! The property had everything we truly needed for a perfect, relaxing escape. From the beautifully designed interiors to the peaceful outdoor spaces, every moment here felt like a retreat in itself.The hosts clearly put a lot of care into making sure guests have a comfortable and seamless experience. Communication was easy, and every little detail was well thought out.Simply put, this was a slice of "zenny" heaven. The only problem? Our stay was too short! We can’t wait to return.

Perfection!

We are so happy we booked Lumiere. What an amazing spot and we want to go back.For our trip, we rented a car from UVF. The drive is a bit hairy but we managed. The host offers to figure out drives if that’s what you prefer. Took us a bit over 2 hours. There is a grocery store right at the last roundabout before you head toward Vigie. It’s only about a 3 min drive away. The property itself is secluded, secure and close enough to amenities and restaurants that you don’t feel so far away. The proximity to the smaller airport and the large cruise port was initially concerning, but like previous reviewers commented, it actually became a source of entertainment. We loved watching all of the catamarans, boats, small planes going by. Don’t be discouraged by this! You’ll love it and still feel like you’re in your own private spot. Property is tastefully decorated, loads of space and the view is unmatched. We spent most of our time enjoying coffee down on the lower deck or relaxing in the pool.There isn’t a sandy beach on this property but there is water access. The water is so warm and my husband loved to snorkel. Vigie beach is so close if you want some white sand. All of the towels, kitchen amenities, pool floaties, snorkelling gear are there. The only thing I would have liked was an extra blanket. Bed and pillows are otherwise very comfortable. View from your morning wake is spectacular.Communication with owner Chad and host Dayna was easy and friendly. Book this place!!

Did you know that our outdoor garden shower was built with the white coral stones collected from that beach? We loved sourcing as much natural materials as possible directly from our land, including the tent’s bamboo wall which was a raft from St. Lucia jungle tour that washed up on our beach! We designed the property as both a romantic location to breathe and reconnect and also as a base camp to explore the island from. What makes this property unique

St. Lucia is a volcanic island and thus it’s elevated rock topography is a big part of it’s beauty, so Lumière having direct water access with a low bank and private beach is extremely rare to find in the rental market. So not only is Lumière the only tented experience on island but also one where you can snorkel directly out front of your luxury tent!
