This is a great rental for anyone who has a temporary working assignmant in Portland. I lived here for 3 months while on assignment in Portland area. The apartment is centrally located in a residential area where I always felt safe. Great communication with the property manager too. The apartment was clean and everything worked as it should. Plenty of room for me living here by myself. Would recommend.

Everything as Described!

The pictures are accurate of the property. The apartment was very clean, and has a minimalist look and feel inside. The price was great. Check-in was super easy. The neighbors and neighborhood were quiet. Additionally, I was one of the first people to rent this particular listing and because I was here for 2 months, I started to come across additional things I thought the place needed for long-term renters. After reaching out to the owner, I found them to be very responsive. They ordered items and had them delivered straight to me so that I'd have them. I think future renters would appreciate the communication and accommodations.

needed to buy a coffee maker, a long washing scrubber, a fan, a baking pan, a toaster, room air freshener and baking soda rug deodorant, and a small pillow. The knives are dull, the frying pans are cheap so they do not have Teflon that works so eggs stick to the pan and there wasn't any Teflon scrubs to properly clean them. The description of the place mentions in only one sentence that this is an upstairs apt. and I missed it. It is 15 steps to get to the doorway. My knees were not happy. Also I could not find anywhere that it is no air conditioning. It was uncomfortably hot. Management responded right away to calls. I could not figure out the lock box and needed extra instruction, and the floor A/C unit was not installed with an exhaust to the window. Maintenance came and got that going the very next day. But it was not a big enough unit to cool down the entire apt. Also the rug smelled like cat pee. They addressed that by bringing in a oxidizing machine for the worst smelling room and also professionally shampooed the carpet. Sadly the smell of cat pee was still present. I suggest getting rid of the carpet, sanitize the floor beneath it and lay down linoleum. And finally, I noticed rats outside between this apt. complex and the one behind me. The Tenant that feeds the birds and squirrels is also providing food for the rats below the feeder! At one point I counted 5 of them. They looked very healthy. The tenants in this apt. complex are friendly and quiet.
