It is a quaint, nicely appointed house, just enough for our family of three and a dog. The neighborhood around the lake is very quiet, and you can listen to woodpeckers pecking. There are many hiking trails within 30-min drive. It's a great place to get away from the city. The owners responded to my questions and concerns promptly.
I really liked it. It was comfortable and super cute. The host was responsive with even silly questions. The coffee bar was a great convenience and very appreciated.
The house is very sweetly appointed with a comfortable bed, well stocked kitchen, coffee station, and helpful guidebook for the local area. Oriana was very communicative, helpful, and warm.
Oriana was awesome and I look forward to staying there again.

Thank you, Kirsten! Kirsten and her guest were excellent. Great communication, very respectful, and clean. I look forward to hosting you again! Thanks for choosing to stay with us!
This cozy, beautifully decorated and organized cottage had everything I needed for my short term rental with my dog Sophie. It was spotless, probably one of the cleanest homes I’ve seen, and provided a comfortable stay with a well equipped kitchen, WiFi TV and AC. The cottage is close to other homes, but it’s a peaceful and quiet area. The few neighbors I encountered were very friendly. I would definitely return to this lovely home.
We were very lucky to find this cottage so near to all we wanted to do for our week in April. We had some work to get done in the area, and our daughter attended a spring break day camp in the area for each day of the week. When we wanted to go out to eat, the area restaurants were excellent; but I was also able to cook (and grill) each night that we wanted to save money and stay in. The cottage is small, but served the four of us perfectly. The owner is very communicative and supportive of our needs, I would return (and may in the near future) to this property.
As I entered the code to open the door a swarm of wasps surrounded me and I was stung between the eyes. I notified the owner and she sent someone to check the area. He found a nest under the stairs which he destroyed. Properly maintained property would never a wasp nest by the entrance. We made the reservation based on the representation there was lake access. We went to the lake with the town pass and were immediately met by a guard who asked if we live in the area. We said we were renting a house for two nights. She said we cannot use the lake and the owner should have told us this. She said it was not a new policy. Only residents, not renters, are permitted. On the second day of our three day vacation we were again refused lake access. I told the owner the first day and she said she would contact the town. Nothing happened. We were not told in advance that the house water was not drinkable (read it it in the brochure in the house)and had to drive 12 miles to buy bottled water. Each day my eyes and face swelling worsened. This vacation was the worst I have ever had. We asked for a full refund and the owner reimbursed us for one night. DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOUSE.
House was perfect! Had everything we needed for a great weekend! Very pet friendly! House was very clean. We didn’t really use the kitchen but it had everything you would need!
