This cozy retreat features 1 bedroom with a comfortable queen bed, full bathroom with a shower and hair dryer and amenities like WiFi and heating. There's another door inside leading to the 2nd room, that bedroom is not included or part of the rental but you're welcome to use that space for your extra space and luggages. Enjoy all that Des Moines has to offer when you stay at our place. Relax and enjoy with your morning coffee before your flight just minutes away from the airport. Enjoy & explore to our wonderful front yard garden with assorted perennial plant collection that blooms in certain time of year of every months, weeks and days. You can hear the happy sounds of different birds like humming birds and more singing and once in a while see them in and out Oo their bird houses and hear the waterfall as well.

This was a nice place to stay for a quick trip through Seattle and close to the airport. The yard was well kept and a bird watchers haven. The host, Helen, is very sweet and accommodating.

Beautiful escape

Cozy comfortable lodging with lots of extras like snacks, bottled water, library, and nice bed. Front yard is spectacular. Warm hospitality Close to airport. Wifi was weak however.

Beautiful Home

Helen’s Garden House was very comfortable with lots of features of care. Her garden is stunning. Helen was very kind and worked around our flight schedule. We greatly appreciated her kindness.

Sweet pretty place, close to the water.

Host was lovely, the rooms were fine, very clean, excellent bathroom and a little kitchen that was well stocked and included a little library! Pretty garden outside. Close to the Des Moines marina, short drive to Seattle. Beds were comfortable, though a bit high. We will return.
