Overall nicely equipped condo... Many upgrades .... But the best part was being able to walk right out patio door to the Adirondack chairs for a 180 degree of the beautiful pacific... Conveniently located to lots of activities and restaurants. Would book again!

Amazing front row seat at the Ocean

Property is a bit dated, but comfortable & affordably priced.The location overlooking the Pacific is magnificent! We greatly enjoyed whale and dolphin spotting. Since our stay was for a month, it was great having a washer & dryer in the unit. When we had a problem with a poorly operating shower, the management company sent a plumber right away.

Amazing location and comfortable unit

This property walks right out onto the grassy cliffs with an expansive ocean view. The condo is spacious and has all the amenities needed. The bedrooms and furniture were comfortable as well. The reservation process/check-in etc.. was very easy. The unit is very clean but older and a bit dated. The only downside is it is pretty dark at night with dim lights, but otherwise we really enjoyed our stay.

As wonderful as we had hoped!

The views and the accommodations are exactly as pictured. This is a great property at what we came to believe is the best spot on the whole island. We will be back again and again and I don’t see any reason to stay anywhere else. (& the beds were comfortable which is always a bonus!) The property management was quick to respond when the shower drain plugged up. I was even hesitant to call on it because it was Sunday morning but they had someone here within an hour and got it all fixed. Our favorite spot were the anorak chairs about 100ft outside the patio doors. We saw whales and watched the waves. This magical place erased thoughts of work and pressures back home. We will be back!

Lovely condo with a view

Condo is beautiful and nicely appointed. The view is SO beautiful. We saw whales a few different times while we were eating outside in the morning. It does feel like the place needs a good scrubbing. The garbage can holder needs to be wiped down, the kitchen has grime around the stove. There is some caulking that needs to be redone. There is also a wall or two in the master bedroom that looks like there is some mold. As others have mentioned, there is no AC. However there are fans in all rooms which we had running all the time along with two stand fans. I don’t expect AC in Hawaii, but a good cross breeze is necessary and it’s hard to get that in the bedrooms as the windows are only on one side. The other thing I’m not sure was explained in the listing is this is a first floor condo but you enter from the parking lot on the second floor and have to take the stairs down to the first floor. Not a biggie for us, but renters should be aware of this. Would absolutely stay here again. The place is beautifully decorated Hawaiian style and the view is beautiful from every room.

Great unit on bluff overlooking ocean. Albatross, frigatebirds, tropics birds, nene trying to nibble on toe. Great spot to head out for activities. We are not golfers but within walking distance. Can walk to informal dining. Would stay there again in a heartbeat.

While the units on the cliff are older than the newer ones you see as you enter, everything in this unit worked and was well maintained. Walking out your patio door to the ocean view was priceless. We would forget from time to time that there were other people in our building as it felt as it we had that area to ourselves. The unit had everything we could have asked for and more. I would rent this unit again.....if I could only have two more weeks off!

Wake up and fall asleep to ocean views and sounds

This property sits right on a cliff looking over the North Shore of Kauai and provides the renter with a true feel of the power of the surf. The condo was very well appointed with great beds, baths and kitchen capacities. It has a great walking/running path next to the golf course and easy access to Princeville town center and Hanalei shops/restaurants.

Perfect place!

My family and i love this apartment. Has everything you need. The view is beautiful you can see whales everyday. Is close to restaurants shopping and the best beach in Kauai “Hanalei”. We are definitely coming back next year.

Paradise!!

Beautiful views, comfortable interiors, fantastic location, did I mention beautiful views? This was our favorite vacation ever, and this rental was perfection. One could spend the entire time just sitting on the lanai, gazing at the ocean, but great beaches, hikes, and gardens are withing easy striking distance. And I really appreciated Oceanfront Realty sending notification of nearby events (and high surf warnings!) via their app. Cannot wait to return!!!

Paradise Found!

This unit is amazing in all aspects! The views and sounds of the ocean and coastline from the living room and both bedrooms is unbeatable. The kitchen is well stocked with all of your cooking needs and included a blender, coffee maker, toaster, toaster oven, and microwave. The refrigerator was very spacious and it was nice to have an ice maker (and a traveling ice pack) in the freezer. The washer and dryer appeared to be brand new and were a very unexpected, but pleasant surprise to our trip. We were thankful for the multiple fans located throughout the house as we were not used to being in tropical humidity. The unit came with several other amenities which made our trip very enjoyable: 4 beach chairs, multiple beach towels, and two large insulated beach bags (good for keeping drinks cool). Even though we didn't use them, they also had two sets of swim fins, a boogie board, and a beach umbrella for shade. The only two improvements we would suggest was that the bathroom tub in the "guest" bathroom has a large amount of rust around the drain and we could not locate a plug, so it was not functional for a bath. Showers were sufficient, however, there were a couple of nights that a warm bath would have felt good after a long day of hiking or shopping. Travelers should also know that the pool just has a pool and does NOT have a hot tub. The neighboring property DOES have a hot tub, but the two "sister" property's apparently do not allow sharing of each one's pool areas. What we found was that if you are lucky enough to catch a nice person in the neighboring pool area to let you in, and you behave yourself, all's good. It would be nice if the entire property could come together to add a hot tub to their pool as they have plenty of room to do so. These are really just two very minor distractions and we would definitely consider ourselves to be future returning vacationers. As they say on the island, "a hui kaua" (until we meet again)!

Hawaii at its best

This condo was great, it is a two bed (both very comfortable), two bath, with a great kitchen right off the bluff. Even though there is no air conditioning, the trade winds kept it cool all night and into the morning...it was just a little sticky between the hours of 1 pm to 5 pm. Wonderfully atmosphere in the condo ... great extra's like bogie boards, beach chairs, snorkel gear etc... we will rent this unit again.

Great Quiet Location

The listing and photos accurately reflect the condo, although the hardwoods have been replaced with tile. It's a spacious place and we enjoyed using it as our home base. Clean and well kept including the grounds. the bluff views were amazing and there's a great area right below the condo (steep hike) with a cave and beautiful water and lava rocks (no sandy beach) we enjoyed that area. It was our first time to Kauai and I would only wanted to stay on the North shore, Hanelei is adorable and all of the beaches around (Anini, Ke'e, Tunnels, Hanalei, Haena )are to die for. You do feel a little "disconnected" to things because the place is situated in a condo community and having to drive to the beach, but the upside to that is that you've got a peaceful home base away from crowds. We would definitley stay here again! I really have no complaints, the large washer and dryer was a nice thing to have and I liked the bottom location. The balcony on the third floors might provide more a view (although you have a great view!) it could be very hot as you'd be totally exposed to the sun, I think that might even be the case on the 2nd floor balcony. It was really nice to just step out he sliding glass door and walk to the bluff's edge to catch the sunset or see the amazing water/reefs below. We did see a turtle in the cave when we went right before dusk one evening. I wish there would have been one more couch (there was definitely room), but that's really it! Family with older teens I think would enjoy this most.
