Aside from oceanfront, this home might possibly have the finest setting in the entire plantation!

Walk through the front door and enter the spacious family room with cathedral ceilings and incredible views of the deck, pool, lagoon and golf course. The well appointed family room contains upscale comfortable furniture not often found in rental homes including a game table for four. A large flat screen TV over the fireplace with a blue ray DVD is available for your enjoyment. This home is all on one level with no stairs to climb. The huge, fully equipped kitchen is totally remodeled and has everything you need to prepare gourmet meals for the family including warming trays that will keep your food warm. Adjacent to the kitchen is a theater room with surround sound, 60in TV, and blue ray DVD. The laundry room has a front load washer, dryer, and plenty of storage space.

Two separate eating areas provide ample space for a houseful of guests. The dining room with a very nice glass table seats eight people and is located next to the kitchen. An extended counter in the kitchen seats four. 8 Midstream features new tile in the kitchen, halls and theater room and low pile carpeting in the living room and all bedrooms.

Sit by the pool with your morning coffee or your favorite cocktail and enjoy the kayakers and small boats as they pass by. You will also be mesmerized as you observe bountiful island wildlife. Watch herons, egrets, loons, pelican and osprey fish for their meals. The view of the golfers and the sand traps is so close you feel you are part of their foursome. Whatever your choice, the view is breathtaking! The large table with umbrella on the deck that runs the length of the house is the perfect place to dine al fresco. For a more intimate meal, sit by the pool at the two bistro table with umbrella. The deck can be accessed from sliding glass doors from both the living room and master bedroom or a door in the theater room. If you want to fish in the lagoon, a dock is just steps away from the pool. There is also a outdoor refrigerator and Weber grill on the deck that has piped gas so exchanging propane tanks is not a concern. The large backyard includes badminton net with rackets and birdies available.

The master bedroom suite has all new furniture including a new king-sized Simmons Beautyrest mattress. The Master Suite is large and also has a flat screen TV, blue ray DVD and reading chair. Walk out the sliding glass doors onto the deck in the morning and watch the lagoon and golf course as they comes to life!
There are also two queen beds in the 2nd bedroom with flat screen TV, blue ray DVD player and private bathroom. The 3rd bedroom is also large and has two new queen beds, a flat screen TV , blue ray DVD and private bathroom. Dresser space and closet space are ample in all bedrooms so there will be no worries with finding a place for your things. All bedrooms have quiet ceiling fans and new Beautyrest bedding.
In addition to the 3 bedrooms, there is a wonderful sleeping nook off the master suite. The nook provides a 4th sleeping area and contains a brand new high quality twin bed.
Unlike most rental properties, you also have use of the garage. In the two car garage you will find adult bikes, fishing poles and a wagon , beacj cart, beach chairs for your use. Take a bike ride on the beach or tour Palmetto Dunes. The Robert Trent Jones course is considered one of the best in the southeast and is only one of two with an ocean front hole on all of Hilton Head Island. The house is situated on the 15th hole; the signature ocean front hole is #10.

The private gated community of Palmetto Dunes has the best that Hilton Head can offer - one of the East Coast's premiere beaches, championship golf and tennis, fine dining, and miles of bicycling and walking trails. The Dune Buggy vans offer free shuttle service to all parts of Palmetto Dunes including the beach, Shelter Cove Harbor, Kroger, Whole Food, the Mall and the Dune House. The Dune House offers a restaurant, restrooms, outdoor showers, and parking lot or bike rack for all Palmetto Dunes guests. Overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, the Dune House is a great place for lunch or dinner and cocktails after a day at the beach. Shelter Cove Harbor also offers restaurants and unique shops. Walk along Shelter Cove and look at the yachts that are anchored in the marina. The Palmetto Dunes general store has a wide variety of merchandise, groceries and souvenirs. If you get the urge to do some fishing the general store also sells bait.
