Would definitely stay again.

Perfect size for our family. Plenty of linens and bedding for everyone. Conveniently located; very quiet street. Our children loved the arcade games and the hot tub. We would definitely recommend.

Needs work

Easy check in. Nice cabin. Found an empty capresun drink in coffee table. And cocktail umbrella upstairs. Floor was dirty. Want me to empty garbage without a spare bag. Hot tub had excessive bubbles. Stayed 2 nights. I complained about noise down hill for 2 days. They were up at least 2 am partying. I had my kids wanting peaceful stay. Some deck boards need replacement. Gutters totally clogged. Found a rock to keep bedroom door open. It was a beautiful cabin. Money needs to be poured into it. But to sum it up, I dealt with dirt and bubbles. The noise was unacceptable for the amount I paid for peace with my family

Peaceful

The cabin was very cozy, clean, hot tub was on, clean and hot. Lots of cooking equipment, utensils. In this area there are a lot of other cabins close by, was still quite though but not secluded, but was a very log cabin experience, look. A very nice place. Thanksgiving is a very busy time of year in Gatlinburg, so book early for Mountain View cabin.

Great location, cabin needs updating

We absolutely loved the location of this cabin. My family was able to walk the streets without any traffic or people. We had awesome nights sleeping on the comfortable beds. The hot tub was great. We stayed during Thanksgiving which included making our own dinner. The cabin only had 1 9x13 casserole dish. Luckily I brought one of mine from home, otherwise I would've been screwed. The only carpet in the cabin is on the stairs and it looked stained and filthy. I didn't even want to take my shoes off. Being such a small area, I really don't think it would cost that much to replace the carpet. I had to borrow matches from the neighbor because the igniter on the gas grill didn't work. Overall, I would still stay at this cabin.

The property was in need of repair. No hot water in showers. Mattress was lumpy, not comfortable

Cabin was cozy and could have been nice if it wasn't for the issues. Could not speak to the owner directly which is a problem. Very tight configuration downstairs. No hot water for showers. Dead bugs in the shower. Kitchen light broken. Generally in need of repairs. Requested call back from owners and still have not received a call three days later. Property is priced too high. I would not stay here again.

Our apologies that you had issues during your stay in Amberwood, you should not have had to deal with these problems. One of the items that we discuss and stress at check-in is for a guest to let us know if there are any problems they encounter during their stay so we can dispatch maintenance to fix the problems. Granted you should not have to do this but at times, like with any homes, problems do occur and we fix them immediately upon knowing of the issue. Upon reading through the notes in the reservation documenting the call when the guest checked out, I do not see a request for a call from the owner or member of management. We normally return calls the next day but no request was documented. Again, our apologies that you encountered these issues during your stay.
