The host, Benson, was welcoming and communicated just often enough :-) the unit was in a hip area with many independent businesses in walking distance. Right next to a beautiful park. I walked in and it smelled wonderful and was clearly lovingly decorated and cared for. Lots of products so you don’t need to worry if you forgot some toiletries. Great rental for families. My teens loved having their own rooms because often on vacations they share. TVs were easy to use. The heat worked great as did the AC (it went from 70 degrees to 30 during our visit!).
Tower Grove East is one of the best places to stay in STL, and this is a great choice for staying there. Clean and comfortable, with roomy bedrooms, and it is on what may be the prettiest street in the area. Half a block from a massive park.
This home is charming and well kept. The beds are very comfortable and cozy. It is in a great location near a beautiful park. The kitchen isn't stocked very well if you plan to prepare your own meals, but what they do have is very nice quality. If you are cooking for a family, take inventory before you plan your meals.
The property is fun and memorable with the green entry doors and accent walls. Well outfitted with bath products, kitchen gear, and furnishings, though there could be a few more plates and glasses. The door lock system was the easiest I've ever experiened at a property and there was not an exhaustive guide about how to use everything. Very staightforward. We had a great time and enjoyed walking in the beautiful neighborhood! Thank you!
We really enjoyed the stay over all. The unit was clean and was a great location for us and the green made it easy to find. We have stayed in many VRBO properties so we had some expectations that fell short. We try to save some money by cooking our own food but there was only one skillet and one pan. There were forks and spoons but no knives. One prep knife. The coffee maker was a Keurig and we brought coffee for a regular coffee maker. Some more silverware and clarification would be helpful for future guests. The bathroom was very well stocked with anything you would need. More wash clothes would be helpful. The beds were comfortable but a couple were short of sheets. Th sitting area was nice but the furniture was not very comfortable. The dining table and chairs were more comfortable for our group.I had one problem with the WiFi because the name given did not match the name. It was probably a typo. But our host did respond quickly. One other suggestion for our host that we have found very helpful. Most hosts will have a book close to the front door or on a table that gives information about how to use the thermostat, internet, available TV channels, and suggestions for groceries stores or pharmacies that are close. And a guest book. People who stay can leave a note for the next group on what they enjoyed locally food, parks, and such. All in all it work out well and we had a great time. Thanks!
The Emerald is a lovely place to stay when visiting St Louis. It is exceptionally clean and very close to everywhere we visited. The street is very quiet and our host was more than accommodating.
