We loved this house, from the location to the decor. It had everything we needed for a great stay. The door locks are a bit tricky, but once you figure them out, no problem.
Very special property, with comfortable sleeping and living areas and a close-up view of the Mississippi River. In warmer weather, it would be lovely to sit out on the deck. Bar theme was appealing, with handsome furnishings and woodwork. Bring an evening beverage & some coffee to brew in the morning, and settle in for a peaceful escape from the grind.
Close to everything, yet off the beaten path enough for privacy!

My wife and I spent two nights in this charming location. Being able to sit on the back deck and watch the boats go up and down the Mississippi was a unique experience. The space itself was well appointed, comfortable and quiet. We will definately book again if we come through the area.
The river front apartment exceeded our expectations! The space was so unique and cozy. The kitchen was perfect, loved the big window in front and river view out back. We had everything we needed to eat in or there were several restaurant options nearby. We really didn't want to leave to eat out! We had the perfect space and the perfect view! The apartment is only 15 min out of the Quad Cities, perfect for us, peaceful and quiet but near anything we needed. It was a little chilly but we still enjoyed the deck every morning with coffee and bird watching and barge watching. Take binoculars to get a great view of the eagles! Loved our weekend away on the river. Will definitely stay again when we are in town. Ten stars!!!
Plenty of room for the two of us. Well stocked kitchen with coffee pot or single cup KCup or small basket both. Queen bed was comfortable. Lots of hot water with good pressure in shower/tub combo. Very happy with our stay.Berhappy with our stay.
Another lovely stay at the Mississippi River house
Comfy bed, great water pressure, fully stocked kitchen, excellent coffee maker. This is our 4th or 5th stay at this property. It does not disappoint. Even if all we do is sit on the deck and watch the River flow by, it’s a perfect vacation. We had a little glitch when we arrived and Micah handled the situation effectively and with a smile. We would rent this property again.
An historic old general store that has been converted and updated to a modern, fun apartment. The back "Tiki Bar Deck" is literally "spitting distance" from the banks of the Mississippi River. the interior is completely modern with updated appliances, 4 TV's, an interior bar and a very comfortable living area. Also, the property is right on the river walk/bike trail. I have stayed at this property three times now and always go back when I am in the area. I highly recommend this property
This place is great if you are looking for a weekend getaway or even a week. Quiet neighborhood and it has everything you need if you want to cook you meals or grill out. You do not want to miss coffee on the deck in the mornings and/or cocktails in the afternoon or evening. The on site manager Micah is the best. Whenever I bumped into him he always asked if things were OK and if I needed anything. This building, built in 1850, has a rich history of businesses from the past. They built boats in the basement years back and even drilled Mother of Pearl buttons from clam shells. It has all the modern amenities that don’t take away from the original building. Truly a great place to stay.

While it’s a very cute place it just wasn’t clean. Musty smell was obvious on entry. It seemed the home had not been thoroughly cleaned, lots of cob webs and dust. Coffee maker was not in proper working order (pod element doesn’t work) we didn’t linger in the home much more than sleep because all I wanted to do was clean it and my husband wasn’t having that.
