This place was amazing! Perfect location that is close to everything, great people watching, and very peaceful at night. This house has everything you need from every kitchen appliance you can think of and much more. Saw manatees all day long. Super clean with plenty of space for the whole family. This is how it’s done!! I’m nervous to give this review it’s gonna get harder to book!! Everything is thought out carefully and practically. House is beautiful and spotless and perfectly maintained. Location is incredible as far as Kayaking and people watching and to the main roads. The hosts are responsive, available and helpful. The home is all you could hope for when it comes to a true river escape. We hit Epcot 1 day and the ride was easy from here. . This was our 2nd stay and we can’t wait to get back.

4th stay here, love it so much! Beautiful home in perfect condition with amazing river views and access. Jumping in off the dock in the clear cool water is so much fun! Kayaking and paddle boarding every day and relaxing at this resort like home is the best way to enjoy time at magical weeki wachee river.

This house and this location was perfect for our week long getaway!The house had everything you can think of and then some extras too!Even used the kayaks (first time kayaking) we had a lot of fun and saw so many manatees even from the house! My husband saw a dolphin and her baby go by too!House was super clean and comfortable!Had some minor issues with the lock but Tonya was quick at responding and fixed the issue super fastWe fell in love with this place and would love to stay again!!!!! Our family of 6 adults had a WONDERFUL stay. The house is INCREDIBLE! Well stocked with EVERYTHING you could need. We spent time kayaking & in the water off the dock as well as lounging in the lawn chairs watching people go by. We saw many manatees & a couple of dolphins. We rented go-boats our last day which was a great way to explore the river farther for a couple of us older folks. The screened in lower area was great for a night of cooking & hanging out. No expense has been spared to make this house perfect!! We could not have asked for more.

We are local Floridians who treasure the nature coast. Our dream was to build a home next to a beautiful Florida river. We are amazed at the gorgeous views of sea life and sunsets every time we stay there. We are excited to share our dream with you! We hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

Why they chose this property

We are walking distance to a wonderful waterfront restaurant, Upper Deck, and Roger's Park. Some of our favorite local hangouts are Bayport Inn, Tropical Grille, Silver Dolphin, and Drunken Mullet. It's only a short boat ride to the Gulf and Hospital Hole is right around the bend up river. It's a perfect location to enjoy the best that the nature coast has to offer!

What makes this property unique

We love the architecture in Key West and decided to bring this flair to the river. We lost our favorite musician, Jimmy Buffett, in Sept 2023, the same day we purchased the lot to build. It was only fitting to keep his memory alive in the style and art work in our river home. We added a Tiki Bar, corn hole game, and parrots throughout to keep the parrot head vibe going! We hope you enjoy it!!
