Anniversary celebration vacation

We had a lovely stay, the house was immaculate and so close to beach. All the accommodations you need. From hot tubing and morning swims it was perfect. Plenty of room for our 25th anniversary celebration with our family. We will definitely be back.

Happy and comfortable beach family vacation

We loved our stay! Super comfy beds, super clean, all necessities covered, and walking distance to the beach. Quiet neighborhood, beautiful and spacious home. I think the only thing is our kids weren't fans of the bunk beds. The trundle was sufficient. We will definitely be back, next time sans children :)

This place was perfect for our family of 7 (5 adults and 2 kids). There was plenty of space and furniture to accommodate. The pool was clean & refreshing. We loved the few minute walk to the beach & all the beach accessories that were accessible in the garage (chairs, wagons, towels). Communication was amazing & anytime I reached out I would receive a response within 5-10 minutes. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Great Property

If you’re filtering out townhomes while searching for places in Siesta Key, you are missing out. This property was the perfect getaway for our family. The neighborhood was quiet. The walk to the beach only took a minute(no sandy wet car seats). The house was spacious and clean and the private pool and hot tub were a relaxing way to end each evening.

Family Vacation

Our whole family really enjoyed our vacation. The house was extremely clean and had plenty of room for all of us. It was great having a private pool and being within walking distance to the beach. The staff was all very friendly. When we had a small issue, maintenance was there within the hour and made sure to fix the issue the same day. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation. We will definitely be back!

Better than I could have imagined

The property was beautiful and much closer to the beach than I thought. Everything was included; all beach/pool supplies that’s could have needed, all kitchen cooking needs, plenty of r gulag towels and beach towels. The property is absolutely spotless and the property manager checks on any need you may have throughout your stay. It well exceeded our expectations!

Fantastic Escape!

This house is absolutely stunning! It was very clean, spacious, and had beautiful simple beach decor. Everything is up to date, and the pool area was perfect. It was private and quiet with beach access at the end of the street. All the "extras" were there too - many pool towels, a high chair, and beach gear - a cart, toys, chairs, and umbrellas. We were an extended family traveling, and this place provided enough space for everyone. We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend this "cottage" (it's more of a house!)

Beautiful home in a great location

We had a fantastic week at Serenity cottage. The location was perfect, a couple minute walk to crescent beach and point of rocks, 10 min walk to Captain Curt's Village, short drive to Siesta key beach and village. The private pool and spa provided fun in the afternoon sun. Beach chairs were provided in the garage with an array of beach toys and coolers, wagon,and a bike. The house is beautiful and perfect layout for us and our 2 teenagers. The house is separated on 3 floors, each bedroom with its own bath. We had plenty of room to spare. I would not hesitate to book Serenity Cottage again.

Beautiful home away from home

This is a great place to stay for couples traveling together or for a family. It is very nice and clean and has everything you need for the beach: chairs, beach cart, cooler, toys for the kids. We walked to Crescent Beach every day then returned to swim in the pool. Crescent Beach is less busy than Siesta Key beach yet still has the white sand. You can also walk around the point to Point of Rocks which houses a ton of seashells. Definitely worth a trip. Staying at this property makes vacation feel like a vacation since you don't have to worry about the logistics. Highly recommend booking this one. It is a gem. We will definitely return for another vacation. Kudos to the owners!

What a get away!!! We had to book a place last second and normally we would take what we could get but this time we were lucky. This home was out of this world great. Super clean, well stocked with everything we needed, soaps, tows you name it. The only thing we had to get was our own food. It was so good. The pool was clean and perfect, the beds were amazing and there were more bathrooms then we ever needed. The local was unbelievably perfect and a very short walk to the beach. This section of the beach was amazing and privet. Our young children love love loved it. Can't wait to come back and maybe one day we will buy a home very close to here we loved it so much.

Cozy feel for the family

The house was cozy and quaint which is what we wanted. Nicely decorated and the furniture was comfortable. However, the pool wasn’t clean and the cleaning tools were broken. Also, the closest public beach entrance is very close to the private part of the beach. My family and I were told that we would have to move to the public area, which wasn’t clearly labeled. When the employee pointed it out, it was a small corner area of the beach which was not the cleanest. Although we were only a block and a half from the beach, we were made to feel excluded since we weren’t staying on the condos on the beach. We would have to pay by the hour to go to the private side which was only a few feet away from us. And that beach was not as clean as Ledo beach.

Loved this place!

We were looking for a place along the gulf with easy access to the beach and found the Serenity Cottage. Beach access is just a short 3-4 minute walk down the road, which is safe and pretty private. We loved the house. The master suite upstairs is insanely spacious and private. The other two bedrooms are good size and we loved how each had their own bathroom and that there was another half bath on that floor, as well! The living area and kitchen is an open concept to allow for people to be together in multiple spaces. The screened in porch is large and nice for mornings and evenings! The only complaint was that we wish the pool would’ve been screened in, as well. The bugs were out and being incredibly pesky! If you’re staying here, definitely recommend bringing bug spray and citronella candles to use at the pool. The hot tub was not working but the property management team was tripping over themselves trying to make it right for us. Will DEFINITELY book again if we are headed to Siesta Key. This place is a special gem!!

What good is it to stay close to the beach when you can't find a place to sit?

The property was beautiful, well kept, and clean. The main issue that we had were related to the beachfront properties located at our south end of the beach. Four condominiums have "claimed" most of the beach for their residents and allow only a very small sliver of space for non-residents. They have placed rows upon rows of chairs on what they claim is their beachfront (most chairs remain empty throughout the day) and placed flags to mark their turf. Any attempt to put a chair into "their" private beach is met with confrontation and threats to call security. Unfortunately, this is at the far south end of the beach near the Point of the Rocks where the beach naturally narrows which further congests beach traffic. Consequently, if you are late arriving to the beach you will find very little room to sit. I was shocked to see this turf war and even more shocked at the aggressiveness of the condo staff. I was under the impression that all Florida beaches are considered open to the public, so I was shocked to see this roping off of large parts of the beach by greedy condos claiming beachfront ownership. I have been coming to Siesta Key with my family for years. I have stayed in many locations along the Siesta Key beach. We had never seen this and believe that it should be addressed by The Cottages on the Key. You will begin to loose revenue as your clients begin to run out of beach to enjoy. For us, we will not be back to the south end in the future. Too bad that such a beautiful property be so effected by greedy condo owners.

The location and access to everything was perfect.

The entire process was easy and headache free. We were able to get into the property a couple of hours early which really helped. All the people were friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back.
