Check in is 4pm and check out is 10 am. House rules can be sent prior to check-in upon request and will be available in House Manual at the home.

Communication was great with owner and the house was perfect! Great views of the ocean and the city of Yachats. Minutes from great beach hikes or two minutes into town. The house was very clean, well kept, and stocked with everything you’d need. Just sitting in the living room and staring at the ocean is a vacation in itself. Recommend this home if your staying in Yachats.

Beautiful house!

We had a wonderful stay at the Bear House. We took daily walks on the beach and enjoyed the spectacular views. There were 7 of us, ages 7-77, and there was plenty of room for us.

The view is terrific, the common space is lovely and practical. Location very good. Close to good outings and the village of Yachats. Hot water was fine. The place is tastefully decorated and furnished and is not fussy. We enjoyed it very much. (There was no winery experience, so my rating on that is only because I couldn't get out of the eval software wtithout answering)

While we are permanent residents of Southern California, we are originally from rural Indiana. The Oregon Coast is especially appealing to us as it offers the best of both worlds: the natural beauty of the West Coast combined with the rural charm of the lifestyle we grew up with.

Of all the wonderful retreats along the Oregon Coast (you can’t go wrong with any of them), we especially love how the tree-lined mountains meet the ocean. Yachats Village has everything we adore: it’s walkable, charming, and full of great amenities. Right from the start, the community draws you in.
