This unique waterfront place has a style all its own! Custom Built Flat Top in 2024-Be one of our First Guests! Ideal location for those that love the outdoors & water, Water EVERYWHERE! You are centrally positioned in the OBX on the Causeway of Nags Head! Amazing fishing/crabbing from your dock OR a quick boat ride to some of the best offshore fishing in the world! Be at the Beach in 1.6 mile Or in the quaint waterfront Downtown of Manteo in 4 miles! Go by car or boat wherever you choose! BONUS - 4 kayaks onsite!

The space
This home adopted a Sea Turtle Hatchling - Travel with Purpose when you stay with us and assist in global efforts to help save this beautiful endangered species! In the Spirit of Nags Head - As you pull into the driveway there is parking that leads you under the home. There is an outdoor shower located here for your convenience to rinse off outside prior to going in after an enjoyable day at the beach!

Go up one flight of stairs to the main entrance. This leads you into the level with 4 bedrooms each with their own attached bathroom, king bed and tiled shower! Two of the larger suites have a wet bar as well for your added enjoyment! One of the larger suites has a spacious desk with printer to keep you productive while away! Three of the four bedrooms have slider doors that lead out to the deck facing Pond Island!

Go up one internal flight of stairs to the top-level open concept Living room and eat-in well stocked kitchen. Large couch and two swivel chairs to accommodate eight in the living room with large flat screen TV above the gas fireplace. Open shelving kitchen with stainless appliances with a bonus second fridge to house your drinks or catered items! Coffee bar and Half bath also located on this level! Panoramic water views from every angle and therefore no window treatments needed at top level! Slider door from the living room takes you to another level of decking along with a spiral staircase to take you to the very top deck for more unobstructed views - the Town of Manteo, Jockeys Ridge, Jeanette’s Pier, the Bodie Lighthouse, watch the fishermen drive back to their slip in the distance as they head towards the Marc Basnight bridge, the views are endless! Inside of house is just under 2000 square feet; however, enjoy 3000 square feet of rooftop and deck!

*Custom made dining table located in the open kitchen area similar to an island dining space!

Guest access
All areas are for guest use with the exception of the locked owners closet and locked boat box.

4 kayaks with life vests and paddles to be used at your risk and for your enjoyment!

There is a platform at the dock to easily launch your kayaks and SUP (stand up paddle boards!)

Other things to note
There is a boat slip with electric & water hook-up available for your use with your rental for an additional charge. There is also additional parking area at the dock for a jet ski or two. Please inquire with your host at booking should you be interested in brining your boat/jet skis!

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Leave in a pile in hamper or bathroom. Start a load of towels if you would like - not a request! Leave beds alone - do not strip!
Remove all trash from house (kitchen, bathroom, etc) place in dumpster outside of house. Make sure all dishes are clean, dry and put away.
Turn all lights off. Set AC to 74 in summer and Heat to 60 in the winter at departure. Lock all doors & windows at your departure. If a key was used please put it back in lockbox.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

This property is BEAUTIFUL!! I had 3 teens and a college-age child with me and the kids loved going out back and watching the interesting fish (alligator gar & dolphins) off the dock. The house is nicely appointed with bathrooms off each bedroom, so there was plenty of privacy. The multiple decks off the house allowed for views of beautiful sights. The drive to the Nagshead beaches is short. All in all, we head a wonderful time on this property. The owner/property manager was highly responsive which enhanced our experience.

This is a lovely property with very cool and fresh modern vibes. All four bedrooms are equally lovely. The views at The Ripple Effect are incredible, we spent much of our time hanging out on the multi-level decks and we did plenty of crabbing and fishing on the dock. We've been coming to the OBX for many years, and we prefer staying on the sound side so this property was perfect for us. Since the house was newly built last year, the property owners are still adding to the home - the place would be amazing if kayaks or SUP's were available for use due to the location. However, it is super easy to rent these items at the OBX (and even have them delivered) as well! The host of the property was very responsive and clearly treats the home with a ton of love. Great vacation!

In addition to my education, my love for business & entrepreneurial spirit led me to Hosting!
