This private property features 2 king beds, 1 full bed, a sofa/futon, 2 full bathrooms with a bathtub and walk-in shower, a fully equipped kitchen and open living space. Enjoy a view of the lake and plenty of bird watching on the big front, side and back decks. Free WiFi, Smart TV, AC and a laundry room with washer/dryer are available to make your visit even more comfortable. Our well-kept cottage sits on three large lots with giant hardwood trees, a fire pit and plenty of space to stretch out. Retreat to the peace and quiet of nature and your own cozy spot in the heart of the Ozarks. Perfect for weekend getaways, fishing trips, time alone to pause and reflect or family time while exploring the surrounding lakes, rivers and trails. We are a short drive to Mountain View, Melbourne, Batesville, Ash Flat, Salem, Mountain Home, Hardy and Mammoth Spring, one of the largest natural springs in the world! Needed a place to stay in Horseshoe Bend while visiting relatives. This house had everything that we needed. Beds were comfortable, water pressure was great, plenty of towels, everything you need in a kitchen plus squirrels, chipmunks and birds to watch while sitting on the porch.

The owner was easy to work with and responded promptly to any questions. I was in Horseshoe Bend to visit family, so this was the ideal location. We enjoyed sitting out on the deck drinking coffee in the morning and going for walks in the neighborhood. It was extremely quiet and safe. This is a great place to go and unwind!

Our family has deep roots in the Ozarks and we currently own a farm in Izard County and homes in Mountain Home, AR as well as Horseshoe Bend, AR. Our Topaz Lake House is a quiet little place where family members spend time in when they need to rest and reset. When family is not there, we enjoy renting it out to folks who need a place to stay while visiting their families or vacationing in the Ozark. We love opening up our sweet cottage to others - our Granny was always inviting folks in, feeding them and making them feel welcome and we are hoping to do the same.

Why they chose this property

We love this spot just across the street from Crown Lake and around the corner from the public fishing pier. It's nice and quiet, with huge trees and lots of birds.

What makes this property unique

We're hoping you can feel the love in our little lake house. We've done our best to make it nice and cozy. There are family heirlooms about as well as plenty of modern conveniences - smart TV, wifi, microwave, coffee pot, fully stocked kitchen, nice showers, washer & dryer, etc. The beds are comfy -- the decks are nice (bring bug spray) and you're so close to the lake and fishing pier, local stores.
