Loved the cabin at Lake City. It was rustic and fishing and views were great.The floor in kitchen and bathroom were very crooked and need attention. The shower curtain was a little dirty.I suggest it be replaced.Overall loved our stay

Beautiful location with the river right in front! Loved having that large area for our kitties to walk around outside in a safe environment. Met several neighbors who own nearby properties and all were super friendly. Appreciated having strong Wi-Fi and a smart TV. Comfortable queen bed. Cozy fireplace. Cabin is very old and rundown. Needs new carpet for sure! Refrigerator leaks water. But overall we were very comfortable and plan to return next year! Tannah was great to work with.

Beautiful Location!

We had a wonderful stay at this cabin, the location was beautiful. We fished the ponds, did the Alpine Loop, had some good food and did some shopping in Lake City. We saw a lot of wildlife in the area, including moose at a near-by pond. Everything was wonderful!

Sleepless Nights

The cabin was clean, towels & bedding nice and acceptable. The mattresses were of such a low quality that all four adults (two married couples, early 40’s & older parents) all of whom exercise and are healthy, experienced very poor sleep during our entire stay and experienced hip pain and another back pain. We love Vicker’s Ranch; however we feel strongly it is inappropriate to have welcome signs up, charge fees full well knowing the beds are completely worn out & guests are exhausted from attempting to sleep in them. To own a cabin and suggest this is hospitality is a grave misunderstanding of the concept.

I am sorry that you had such a bad experience with the beds in this cabin. We had not had any complaints this summer regarding these beds. I do believe we did discuss the fact that you have stayed in Vicker's Ranch for years and that this cabin had not replaced their mattresses recently so you were aware that this specific cabin had old mattresses and did still choose to book. The owner is gradually making improvements to the cabin and are replacing the beds during the off season to include a queen bed instead of a full as well as a new bunk bed with a twin over a double so that should fix the problem for future guests. They are also scheduled to remodel the kitchen and bathroom in the next year or two which will improve the cabin even more. Thank you for your feedback. Tannah Snow Lakeview Property Management
