SUMMARY
Immaculate 2BR free standing "Peach Cottage" on two manicured sprawling acres. Less than a half mile from the intersection of High St & Water St, you'll be a quick 10-15 minute walk (all sidewalk) to the ferry, Old Harbor, the beach, nightlife, and family-friendly activities. Great for couples, friends, solo adventurers, and families. 2BR/1BA.

THE SPACE
Sleep 4 (maximum overnight occupancy) in this immaculate rental. Built in 2015 with all new everything, overlooks a beautifully landscaped property and is just minutes from Old Harbor by foot. This beautifully appointed 2nd floor free-standing unit (there is nothing beneath you but an unused garage space) features 2 bedrooms: one queen, and one with two singles. There is a full bath indoors, plus a bonus outdoor second shower. Skylights, plenty of windows throughout, ceiling fans and central air ensure a wonderful island experience!
The 2 acre property features an expansive lawn (great for kids to run and play!), includes a hammock, fruit trees and an organic garden you are welcome to enjoy. The kitchenette has a refrigerator, microwave, stove plate, Keurig and drip coffee makers. There is a small dining table that does expand to seat 4. We provide all the basics (cutlery, dishes, cookware), so you can dine in, or enjoy the gorgeous view on your private spacious balcony - complete with your own grill, peach tree! and ample seating for friends.
The cozy living room features a large Vizio HDTV, complimentary WiFi and Cable TV. The full bathroom (indoors) includes a pristine walk-in shower, complimentary amenities (soap, shampoo/conditioner, hair dryer), and new mini washer & dryer (for a few items at a time). The outdoor shower offers both hot and cold water. The unit boasts ample storage with plenty of cabinet space, 3 closets, and a full size dresser. Solid oak floors throughout.
GUEST ACCESS
The entire rental and all of the grounds are available for guest use. You have your own balcony, grill, space for your bicycles and parking for up to 2 cars. The spacious, well kept yard is especially kid-friendly, though we have none of our own (so the property is nice and quiet, should you be seeking a peaceful retreat).
The owners are on property in the main house should you need anything, but you have total privacy as the rental is separate.
OTHER THINGS TO NOTE
The apartment is a single floor unit located on the second storey of a detatched unused garage, there is nobody beneath you. You do need to ascend a flight of outdoor stairs to access the unit. Maximum overnight occupancy is 4 people. While we welcome you to invite guests over, we ask that you limit it to 6 persons. (Need extra space for guests? We have an additional 2 bedrooms for rent in the main house on the property, which share a private entrance, staircase, and full bath)
Regrettably, we generally cannot accommodate pets*, as we have our own little maltese on the property already.
*on rare occasion, we may be able to permit one small (under 12 lbs) female dog per stay for an additional non-refundable one time pet fee of $100. please inquire.
WHAT IS PROVIDED/WHAT TO BRING
We provide basic linens and bathroom towels (indoor use only, please bring your own beach towels), a few rolls of TP and paper towel (long term guests will likely need to bring additional toiletries/sundries/etc). The kitchen has dishes and basic cooking utensils, a few K-cups for the Keurig, and there's also shampoo, and a small laundry detergent
THE NEIGHBORHOOD
A stone's throw (less than half a mile) from Old Harbor, you are about a 10-15 minute walk away (all sidewalk!). Nearby amenities are the local school playground (close enough to walk to, far enough not to hear any 'school' noise), Empire Movie Theater, scooter rental, the ferry, and all the shopping and yummy restaurants you can handle on Water Street.
GETTING AROUND
We are close to the ferry, the airport, and all of the fun that Old Harbor has to offer! You can walk to Old Harbor, the ferry, restaurants, shopping, nightlife, etc on one of the few sidewalk lined streets on Block Island. You'll love the convenience, privacy, and outdoor space that this rental offers, you can leave the car at home and just bring your sneakers!
