Clarian is a Visit Britain inspected, 4 star rated property so you can be assured of our excellent standards. It has 2 bedrooms, and can sleep up to four people. A travel cot and high chair are available on request. It has comfortable furnishings, fixtures and fittings and is well equipped with everything you need for a relaxed stay. The apartment boasts a TV, free WiFi, DVD & CD player, microwave oven, washer/dryer, dishwasher and full central heating. It has the added benefit of its own private parking space.

Fabulous holiday for 4

We had a wonderful stay ilfracombe, the view from the flat was breathtaking. The flat had everything we needed and the beds were super comfy and the bathroom was gorgeous. It was lovely to wake up to the sound of the Seagulls so much to do and the ability to relax at the same time. Really loved our stay would definitely recommend

Great property in the heart of Ilfracombe

Great property to be in the centre of Ilfracombe. Beautiful view of the coastline. We stayed as a family for half term and used the apartment as a base for days out. Perfect location for Ilfracombe itself, which is lovely, a sweet little town and harbour. We were close to lots of beautiful sandy beaches too, including Putsbotough and Woolcombe bay, which were perfect for our children. The apartment had everything we needed.

good choice

we were glad having choosen this place. clean, great sea-view, and all in all well-maintained. What we missed however and what we expected as standard is wlan/wifi. Also a hair-dryer would be nice. Good place to start tours in the north devon region.

ok place

Too many stairs, and very dark, timer on light switch on stairs needs to stay on for longer. Fairly clean, lovely views, very quiet. Hope we will get our deposit back soon, as nothing was broken by us, in fact, husband straightened up the kitchen units and mended kettle.

2 stars? A little harsh we thought. Lots of light switches as you go up the stairs should keep the stairwell lit until you get to the top. We give a contact phone number for our housekeeper to all guests, so any problems may be reported and rectified immediately, but you do need to let us know! It's unfortunate that occasionally things break down or go wrong. We want all our guests to have the best possible stay and we will always go the extra mile to make sure they do, just let us know how we can make your stay more memorable.

Short stay

Found the stairs and steps challenging especially with luggage. Not aware of this on booking. Parental guidance was on Tv so any drama we wanted to watch was not possible. Must have been previous guests. The main street area of the town is very run down.

We are very disappointed to receive this review as we were not given the opportunity to address any issues directly. We always leave a toilet roll on arrival and this was done, as always, on this occasion. During your stay we did not receive any messages or missed calls regarding any concerns. We always respond to all our guest queries promptly, as is mentioned in previous reviews. We are both well over 5ft and neither of us have any issues in the bathroom so we are not sure what the problem is here? Our Stay at apartment 5 Montpelier Terrace

We had the most wonderful time in this spacious, modern apartment. It was very clean and contained everything you could possibly need for a comfortable self catering experience. There was a tv in both bedrooms and a tv and dvd in the open plan living area. There was even a washing machine and dishwasher in the kitchen area. We found the local attractions amazing and had some great days out. The hills and slopes local to the apartment are very steep and it is a third floor accomodation so there are 3 flights of stairs to climb so not for the faint hearted but totally worth a bit of puffing and blowing. It was certainly a lot more than we had hoped for for the price and easily lived up to its 4 star rating. We would love to stay there again and hopefully will sometime in the near future...Paul, Jackie & Hayley.

Sehr schön gelegene und gut ausgestattete Wohnung mit tollem Blick über Ilfracombe

Die Wohnung ist ein idealer Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in das nahe gelegene Exmoor- Naturschutzgebiet und für Wanderungen auf dem Coastal-Path. Ilfracombe selbst ist eine kleine quirlige Hafenstadt mit wohl allem, was man im Urlaub so braucht.

Gelungener Urlaub

Wunderschöne Wohnung mit traumhaftem Blick über die Stadt aufs Meer. Tolle Lage mit gutem Zuschnitt der Wohnung. Eine Luxus-Wohnung ist es aber nicht, sondern eine einfache Ferienwohnung mit einfacher Möblierung und gut ausgestatteter Küche; der Kühlschrank ist allerdings definitiv zu klein. Wegen des engen Treppenhauses empfehlen sich mehrere kleine Gepäckstücke statt großer, schwerer Koffer. Unterm Strich haben wir uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt!

Apartment with stunning view of Capstone hill

Smashing apartment in an uphill location giving excellent views over Ilfracombe. You need to be reasonably fit if you plan to walk to town. 3 flights of stairs ( last set very steep like a castle turret ! So pack light ). Very comfortable beds. Has everything you need to have a great holiday. Books,games etc. Highly recommend.

Urlaub in Ilfracombe

Ein sehr schöner Urlaubsort und eine die dazu passende Wohnung mit eigenem Parkplatz. Wohnung war für uns ausreichend und gepflegt. Der Parkplatz für einen VW T6 etwas knapp bemessen. Man sollte die Beschreibung dahingehend erweitern, das: Zufahrt mit großen Fahrzeugen recht schwierig sein kann (Straße nur von einer Seite befahrbar). Der Zugang zur Wohnung für körperlich eingeschränkte Personen schwierig ist, da man erst einige Stufen runter muss und im Haus 2 1/2 Etagen hoch, mit einer engen Treppe am Ende (Kein Aufzug). Weg zum Ort recht steil nach unten (Muss man auch wieder zurück!). ÖPV eher gering.

Much needed family time

The apartment was clean and tidy and well equipped, it was everything we needed for family time, the kids were happy with the WiFi tvs in each room so they could easily please themselves. I will say walk up to the apartment is quite steep, followed by the apartment being on the top floor it could be a problem for some but the view makes it worthwhile.

Summer break

Excellent instructions to find the property, wonderful views of the harbour and used it as a base to explore the surrounding area, including boat trip to Lundy Island from the harbour. Front door can be a little tricky to open and second flight of stairs to apartment quite steep.

Excellent little apartment!

Stayed for a 4 night break with my 14 year old son and we had a fab time, the apartment was clean, spacious and had everything we needed. We even did a jigsaw together when the weather was particularly bad! Thank you to the housekeeper who kept in touch regarding key location and hats off to her the place was immaculate! 5 stars

Perfect stay

Very nice and spacious apartment with perfect views at the town and the sea , where you can feel at home. It takes 5 minutes to town (walking distance). The apartment is located on a hill and is under the roof (stairs) so it might not be appropriate für older and/or unfit people.

We really loved our stay at Clarion apartment. It has everything you need in a holiday apartment and great views too. We loved walking around town and visiting the harbour, beaches and even the arcade for some 2p slot action. We’d love to visit again one day as we really loved the town and the apartment. The walk up gets your heart going but the views are worth it.

Despite the steep steps up to the property once inside you immediately feel at home. Everything is clean and tidy and you have all you need for a relaxing break. The views from the apartment are excellent and the off road parking is all you need. Overall a very nice place to have a break.

Had a great stay in ilfracombe and this accommodation is in a grey location! So close to the high street and pubs and restaurants. The flat itself was light and spacious and had everything we needed. 2 great size bedroom and a lovely bathroom. The kitchen/living space was great for making breakfast and chilling out before going out to explore . We were in ilfracombe for a wedding at tunnels beach which again was only a 10 minute walk. We visited some lovely pubs for lunch, drinks and live music. The flat is up quite a steep hill but the exercise was good! I would really recommend staying here. Everything you need and booking is so easy! Will visit again!

Great location with lovely views to sea and harbour

Just back from a weeks family holiday which we all really enjoyed. This top floor appartment has all you need for a relaxing break, great location, comfortable accommodation TVs / DVD & Wi-Fi. The Kitchen is well equipped, the bedrooms have plenty of storage and beds are comfy. Bathroom has overhead shower and is very clean and bright. Having a parking spot is a big positive as parking is limited. Out and about you have a choice of local beaches lots of places to eat as a family or a couple. There are plenty of boat trips and good walks plus aquarium museum and cinema. Surfing is available at Woolercombe with lessons for all ages . There are many attractions in the locality to suit all tastes and age groups so regardless of the weather you will have a great holiday.

Clairian apartment

Nicely presented little apartment with great view of the sea and surrounding Ilfracombe area. Would be quite cosy for a family of four but fine for two adults and a baby. Access is via steep steps but not a problem if you're reasonably fit. The apartment was well furnished and clean. The owners kindly provided a travel cot and high chair which helped us out a lot. The mattress on the double bed was a little soft and springy but still comfortable. The bathroom ceiling is quite low and I hit my head several times a day getting in and out of the shower (although I am quite clumsy at the best of times!) The hot water in the shower fluctuated a bit due to the combi boiler. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and there is lots to do in and around Ilfracombe.
