Pretty mountain wooded property the great grand kids loved the play area and the grandchildren enjoyed s’mores by the fire pit a half hour from Helen and Tocca so I was able to get to my to do list. The fall and the auto museum were pleasant surprises
This was an excellent house to rent. The kids loved all the extras in the kids areas. Sport court was a hit, games on the back deck were great. Creek on property, the kids had a blast. The owners were responsive and allowed early check in. Would absolutely recommend. The house was clean and had everything you would need.
The host gave quick responses to any questions we had. It is a very warm and welcoming cabin. Our family of 9 plus one infant and two dogs had a wonderful weekend together...with everything we needed.
We have stayed at several places, but this one has been one of the best. It was a spacious, comfortable home with all the necessities provided (though the foam on the ironing board is lacking). It is within approximately 30 minutes of everything. It is quiet with a wonderful firepit to enjoy the evenings. The owners are excellent, and quick to answer any questions. The online welcome book is likely the best I have seen. Definitely recommend for larger parties looking to escape to the tranquility of north Georgia.
This was such a wonderful home and property! We loved how there was a ramp to help with getting the elderly dog outside and elderly parent in and outside. The description of the house was exactly as described. I would rent again!
This is a beautiful, rustic atmosphere home with many amenities. The listing is accurate. The host was extremely communicative and very helpful with any questions. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We had some initial disappointment with the stream that is not visible from the house, but there is a path down the hill to it. They provide a cart for taking chairs etc. down to the creek. The stream is somewhat overgrown. The hike to the waterfalls is only for the young and able. It is very steep down to the falls. Our group all had slips and falls navigating it, but they did it every day - there are abundant fish in the area and the falls are really pretty. Great place for kids to fish because they will catch fish! The seniors were forbidden from giving it a try. We just walked up the forest service road for a nice hike through the woods.

We made a last min trip to the area for Valentine’s Day weekend. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was incredibly comfortable and so well appointed. The area is lovely - we hiked Hemlock Falls. Very pretty scenery. Had breakfast at the Batesville General Store - fantastic and great service. The town of Clarkesville is cute - we had dinner at Kaboblicious. AMAZING - a must try! Definitely stop in to some of the local pottery shops - gorgeous pottery! After you’ve done all that, enjoy this beautiful home - soak in the spa, sit around the fire-pit, or play all the fun games down in the game room. Pool, Ms Pac-Man, darts. This home even has a pickleball court. Truly a great home for larger families or a small family reunion! We are so grateful for this special weekend - many thanks! We’ll definitely be back!
This house is awesome! The amenities are great, play area, hot tub, playground, etc are just as described and what our family needed. We had 9 children all together and they had an amazing time. Close to lake Burton and other waterfalls, trails, etc. 5 days was not enough time to enjoy everything. Host was very easy to communicate and answered every question we had! We will love to come back!!
The home was beautiful. It was very spacious for a large group. The kitchen was fully stocked to prepare any meal. The kids living room area was so nice with a TV, Nintendo Switch, foosball table, puzzles, blocks, and more! The pickleball/basketball court was so fun, and there was a playground set! Perfect for families with small children! We plan to stay again!
Our family of 12 stayed 4 days at this secluded mountain cabin. There was plenty of room and everyone enjoyed the game room. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed for preparing meals and we were all able to share our meals at a large dining table. The fenced in back yard was a bonus for Leo and Finley (our 2 granddogs). We enjoyed hikes to the waterfalls, S'mores by the firepits and trips to Helen. The cabin is centrally located to many local attractions.
