It was a great place on the lake/ pond. I wished it would’ve been warmer to use the kayaks. The host made sure that we had an iron so we could get our clothes pressed for my daughter’s wedding. It’s a ways out of town but it was well worth it.
We love this home on Togus Pond!! Our 2nd trip and already planning to come back!! Had a wonderful week - kids fished every day!!! So much to see and do and a beautiful get away on the days you don’t want to do anything but enjoy your family and relax at the pond!! Thank you Joe for another wonderful week in Maine!!
We had a wonderful stay! The house was nice and accommodating for a party our size (4 adults, 5 kids). The kids basically took over the downstairs and had the best time. The lake was beautiful and we had a great time fishing off the dock! Owner was very responsive and helpful. We hope to come again next year!
Our family enjoyed the lake, the weather was great!! Spent evenings on the porch relaxing.
Renting process was easy

We live in Augusta. When my sister-in-law passed away, we decided to find a quiet place to stay while our home intown has several 'projects' taking place. 62 Bumpy Road was an incredible find. The peace and tranquility are second to none. Not all lakefront homes are located in a cove with a pair of loons(!), a barred owl and a screened in porch to enjoy it all from. A well-stocked kitchen and games and puzzles for evenings and rainy days. It is a great spot and easily accessible from the interstate and major inland routes. Close to town yet as quiet as you can get. We will recommend this to friends coming to visit anytime of the year - the stars, the sunsets (and the HUGE TV in the downstairs!) are worth every penny!
My group and I really loved the lake and the floats/kayaks that were included with the property, the lights on the porch made dinners and card games at night very nice.

Robert,
Thank you so much for the great review! We loved hosting your stay and welcome you back anytime!!!
We took a family trip with 9 of us and there was plenty of room for all. The house was very clean. Check in and out was super easy. Would recommend and definitely stay again!
The home was well maintained and very pleasant, lots of room and stocked with everything we needed. Togus Pond is a very nice pond. We were a little disappointed with the area for swimming (rather rocky and weedy), but we still enjoyed the water and the canoe and kayaks.
We stayed at the property for a trade show with our team and enjoyed a comfortable clean and amazing overall stay. The house was clean kept and the owner was easy to deal with would highly recommend
We had a great stay in this cute lake house. The house is clean and really well equipped and the lake was everything we hoped for and more! Spent many days on the water and also did two day trips to Portland and Boothbay (both about an hour away). Overall a great vacation!
We had a wonderful stay at Togus Pond! The place was clean and tidy. My family loved canoeing and kayaking during our stay. Don't forget to bring linens - I almost missed this detail! Overall great time!
Beautiful location on the lake and amazing view from the screened in porch. The owner is very accommodating and easy to communicate with. Unfortunately we were there because our Dad was at the Togus VA hospice and the house provided our family a place to gather and be together. The kitchen is well stocked, the basement has lots of room for sleeping and playing. The living room and kitchen is open and great for family gatherings. Highly recommend this home!
Thanks for sharing your slice of heaven with us again this year! I can never say enough good things after a week of perfect relaxation.
Book your stay, travelers…you won’t regret it!
The property was as advertised. It was clean, the appliances all worked well and the WIFI was high-speed. It is house quality in a camp setting. The information provided by the host was accurate and clear. We had no issues.
We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The house is clean, well appointed, private and comfortable. We played hockey on the lake all weekend and there was plenty of room for 7 adultsthe house was perfectly comfortable on a -30 wind chill night.

This is a very cozy home that gives plenty of space to relax and spread out. The canoe and 2 kayaks were fantastic to have access to and this is a great location on Togus Pond. The kitchen is well stocked and we had all we needed for the bathrooms. We would definitely return!
