Had a few issues but owner was very quick to respond. The cabin was very spacious and definitely had a treehouse feel. View was amazing! Would definitely stay here again.
This cabin was excellent! It's the highest up in the resort. It's was secluded enough for us to have all the fun for our anniversary. Bring an AWD/4WD. It's paved but steep not a long road you just need one . We had such a great time the host was exceptional the cabin had just what we needed and the Hot Tub and Jacuzzi tub were both in perfect conditions.! We even had some fireplace going on as well!
Overall a great place to stay in you’re looking to spend time in the Smokies, but away from the busyness associate with Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge. Couple of hiccups along the way with check-in, but the host was responsive and quickly resolved the issue. Would stay again when going back to the Smokies.
Senior Couple enjoyed 5 nites at Townsend, TN cabin. Location is high on a hill with Great Views, but very convenient to area shopping, resturants and Smoky Mtn National Park. Owners were friendly, accessible, cooperative and Welcoming. A Very Nice mountain retreat. Suggest Guests have front-wheel or 4 wheel drive vehicles, as it is a steep climb to the Treehouse, but well worth it.
Wonderful, peaceful, relaxing mountain top cabin stay in the Smokies
Relaxing, peaceful mountain top cabin stay. The cabin was just as described, actually more than I had imagined. Glad the travel insurance was recommended because it would have been nerve racking had the weather and temperatures had not been cooperative. Very satisfied.

Thank you Gayle! We are so glad you all enjoyed your stay and you are welcome back any time!
This a great cabin if you want a nice view. There was a hiccup with the cleaning people before our arrival. The owners/ property managers responded immediately with offers to make it right. We were a bit disappointed with the grounds around the property having a lot of trash strewn about, but it didn’t affect our enjoyment. The hot tub was clean and ready to go. The indoor jetted tub must not get much use, it blew dust/dirt into the water as soon as the jets were turned on. Overall, I would stay again and recommend this cabin.
Property is as described. Vacationers should bring extra towels and be sure to have everything you need for cooking. All utensils are supplied but items such as spices or tinfoil are not there. NOT a complaint just a word of advice. You will not want to trek up and down the mountain…. It is steep steep as described. We will come again! Thank you

Thank you Karen! I'm so glad you guys enjoyed and we would love to host you again!
Once we arrived (1:00am) we came to find the cabin was not turned over from the previous guests and we were horrified to sleep on used sheets and blankets. My husband, children and myself had to sleep fully clothed in our jackets. Both fireplaces do not work. There were dirty dishes in dishwasher and dirty towels in tub. Once mentioned to hosts they responded the next morning and sent housekeepers the next day to change over cabin. Once we arrived we found that they only made the beds using the same blankets that were used before. We could tell from all the dog hair that was on it same as before. The hosts were responsive yes and accommodated our 1st night stay but it was still upsetting. Then to find the hot tub could not be used bcuz it was filthy green from debris and dirt along with stryofoam pieces floating inside. The hosts stated it was from “a broken cover” but you can clearly see it hasn’t been cleaned in quite some time. No chlorine smell or anything indicating it’s cleaned after every guest. We still made the best of our time but won’t book with them again unfortunately.

Liked: Check-in, communication, location
Disliked: Cleanliness
Great view but cleanliness was below average
The best part of this property is the view, it really is amazing. My wife and I got married here and had our honeymoon stay here also. The cleanliness was a pretty serious issue though. The hot tub was full of some type of bacteria. The underneath of all the furniture was coated in dust and dog hair, bring allergy medicine if allergic. The dishes were not very clean at all also, the cheese grater had old crusty cheese just left on it. Almost all the windows were covered in dirt and just smeared around. Cobwebs in the stairwell along the ceiling. It really is quite a disappointment especially at the price. If I could upload the pictures I have I would but I cannot on this review. If these issues were to be taken care of I’d recommend to anyone.

Hi Tanner, I'm so sorry you were so disappointed in your stay, you let me know about the hot tub and I let you know I had ordered a new filter but you failed to mention any of the other issues - I would have been happy to send the cleaning team out to remedy the problem! I wish you would have given us a chance to fix the issues you had.
