Lovely Pool and Quite Area

The property was well taken care of. Nice to have beach chairs as we visited the beach every morning before the hot sun.

Overall the home was what we needed, large enough that it could sleep 6 people, a pool to relax in, enough towels and sheets. There was both good and bad to the place.Good: - Owner was very responsive, took initiative with issues, and was very communicative.- Plenty of towels and sheets- Clean sheets and towels- Pool was refreshing (though a bit over-chlorinated)- AC workedBad:- There was a persistent wet rot odor that would not go away. The owner sent their cleaner to come take a look. When discussing the problem, I mentioned wet rot inside the walls couldn't be seen. The cleaner told me all Florida homes smell like this.- Master bedroom and bathroom both have the strong wet rot smell- There were multiple full bags to dehumidify the air. These were in the closets, on the floor, in the bathroom. Aside from one I found and hung, everything else must've been there for days/weeks.- Found small scraps of garbage under the beds- AC vent in the master bedroom sounded like a raccoon eating a bag of potato chips (rattling something all the time).- BYO TP/Papertowel/Soap.Again, the owner was responsive, offered to refund us for the odor solutions we came up with, and was doing his best to stay on top of everything, but really needed to come themself to look see the problem. The cleaner acted like it was a personal affront that I brought up the issue of wet rot, and brought somebody with them (not the cleaner) to "inspect".
