Originally a miner's hotel built in 1918, now a private mansion, this is one of Arizona's most captivating historic properties. The Little Daisy is nestled on a prominent hillside adjacent to the town of Jerome.

Come in through the Little Daisy door and you will be transformed and transfixed; you will be welcomed by a grand open living area and a lobby desk that was rebuilt according to the original design. It was lovingly restored in the late 1990’s by Lisa & Walter Acker. They took on the task with their many skills and set to making this shell of ruins into a beautiful home which they enjoyed for over 20 years.

Walter was a man’s man - with considerable vision and fortitude, and skill. He made the beautiful dining table and most cabinets throughout the property. Check out the ceiling in the Billiards / Theater Room It's a wonder! After the sudden passing of Walter, Lisa decided to move into something cozier.

Several years later, Brian Grooms took over the helm and purchased the property, making it his home for over a year. Then, he decided to open up the mystery and wonder of this iconic place to others who have for years pondered over what it must be like inside.

The dining room invites many memorable days as the ever-changing view dances with light and clouds out the large arched windows that line the entire front of the house. Our dining table seats 33 comfortably. Additional seating can be arranged.

The fully equipped kitchen is commercial grade and capable of producing world-class meals. A quick tour of the kitchen logistics will be given to your group or if chosen from our many amenities. Meals provided by our chefs will give you the space to relax and sink into a worry/task-free stay. Depending on your group size and area restaurants availability, this is often a good option to choose.

Other rooms within the home to hold you:
Our Billiards / Theater Room. This space is often where groups relax and have late-night talks or movies while nestled into the oversized feather-filled couches. Also great for those who love to shoot pool and unwind. Upstairs in our south-end Miner’s Wing we have a break-out space complete with a private office space, printer, and shredder. A conference table with a large screen for remote meetings. Television space with sumptuous leather couches to settle into and even a turntable area with vintage albums to play.
A small kitchenette is tucked away - great for making an early cup of coffee and returning to enjoy in bed. Or a late-night popcorn snack! Feeling creative? Step into our bright art studio outfitted with inspirational decor, books, and acrylic paints to birth the magic within you.

Basic laundry facilities are available as well, with all the necessary ingredients.

As the night falls and you are ready for a good night's sleep, retreat to 9 cozy bedrooms where you can recharge from adventures and sightseeing. We get a lot of compliments on our beds - Helix mattresses and heavenly linens await you.

And just when you think that is all we have to offer:
The best view possible awaits–up and onto the rooftop to breathe in the fresh mountain air and marvel at the breathtaking views. Capture the sunset hour as it lights up the red rocks of Sedona with a show of color that will thrill your heart. One of the only places where the sunset is enjoyed in the east! Or grab a blanket, coffee, and a rooftop chair and wake up with the sunrise for a lovely start to your day.

A gas fire pit is also waiting for the perfect little end to the day. Complete with built-in concrete benches. For lighting instructions, please contact your ever-attentive host!

Guest access:
This mansion takes a lot of hands to maintain - during your stay, we will have possible rooftop maintenance, depending on the time of year—also, garbage retrieval & landscapers. Your host will notify you prior. Relax, unwind, and make yourself at home. We are here to curate more than a stay - an experience. Please reach out, and let us know your dreams - we may be able to create them.

We are pleased to share this wonder of a home with you as our guests and hope you’ll treat it with love and respect for the restoration and heart that goes into it.

The Little Daisy is nestled on a prominent hillside adjacent to the town of Jerome and is uniquely positioned to capture panoramic views of the stunning surrounding landscapes.

To one side, the picturesque vista over the town of Jerome is peacefully reminiscent of the Mediterranean countryside, while to the left, breathtaking views take you on a visual journey through Northern Arizona; from the greenery of creeks and rivers populating the Verde Valley, across to the world-renowned Red Rocks of Sedona and Sycamore Canyon, and up to Arizona’s highest mountain ranges, the San Francisco Peaks.

Once you are in Jerome, you will turn on Douglas Rd and go 1 mile down the road until you see a black gate on your left. Pull in, press in the gate code given to you prior, and make your way up the road. The Geode is the second house on your right side. The gate code and door code with instructions will be provided before check-in.

From Sedona. Jerome is less than 28 miles southwest of Sedona AZ. Take State Route 89A to Cottonwood, then through Clarkdale into Jerome. This is very scenic drive.
From Prescott. Jerome is less than 35 miles northeast of Prescott. It is below Mingus Mountain so expect some hairpin turns as you descend into Jerome. Take State Route 89 for about 7 miles to State Route 89A North. Take 89A North which drives up and then down Mingus Mountain for about 27 miles into Jerome, Arizona. Warning to those of you squeamish about twisting roads: 10 of those miles have 156 turns of breathtaking beauty. Tho
