Thank you so much for the amazing review! We're thrilled to hear that you had such a great experience. It was a pleasure having you, and we’re so glad everything exceeded your expectations. We’d love to welcome you back anytime – hope to see you again soon!
Lovely view, very few mosquitos compared to lower places by lake, clean and perfectly arranged for our vacation. Would come back for sure!Don't be turned off by the driveway warning; if you can make it on the road, then you can make it in the driveway.
The carpets were not vacuumed before our arrival and the pillows on the beds were not adequate. They have been washed one too many times and were clumpy and not comfortable at all. They need to be replaced.

Bad communication with the host company. Thank goodness for Sean..The house has a gorgeous deck that looks over the lake..there were 2 plastic Adirondack chairs. One was good, the other was broken. If someone had sat in it the could have hurt themselves. The house sleeps 6. I would hate to see the beautiful dining chairs outside.

Thank you for your feedback—we’re so glad you enjoyed the gorgeous lake views from the deck! We apologize for the communication issues you experienced and for the broken chair on the deck. Guest safety is a top priority, and we've already removed the damaged chair to avoid any future risk. Also, a big thank you for the kind words about Sean. We're very lucky to have him—he always goes the extra mile to help our guests feel comfortable, and we’re happy he was able to assist during your stay. We also appreciate your note about the dining chairs and will take that into consideration as we continue to make improvements. Thanks again for staying with us. We hope to welcome you back in the future for an even smoother stay!
We had a great visit over the week of July 4th. Nice views from the deck. Large, open kitchen & living area on upper level to enjoy from inside home as well. Would definitely stay again.

Code to open the door when we got there wasn't working so I had to call for them to let us in, location and view was amazing, kitchen cabinets needed to be cleaned up better they had a lot of stains and felt greasy but other than that we had and awesome stay ❤️ thank you.
Our overall experience was good. Loved the view from the deck. The cabin sleeps 6 but we could only find 4 towels. More linens would be great. Also there are some loose boards on the stair well. Otherwise the cabin served its purpose.

Amazing view!
We loved staying here. The location was perfect. House was clean and stocked. Furniture is up to date. TVs worked great with Roku! Beautiful view so gorgeous. Unfortunately the company who owns this rental was very difficult to get in touch with. The code they gave us did not work. I tried calling multiple times with no luck. It was later in the evening around 8pm. The temp began to drop so we had to make a decision. I have an infant who was 7 weeks old and a toddler who is 17 months old. For their safety I forced my way through the door. Finally I got a hold of someone and no one ever came out to fix the door or fix the code. I told them about not being able to lock the door when we left because we didn’t have the right code and all she said was secure your stuff. That’s what’s a door lock is for. This is an amazing place but the rental company difficult to deal with.

Thank you for sharing your experience and for your kind words about the home and location. We understand the challenges you faced with the door code and communication, especially with young children involved. Please know we have since fixed the door and updated the door code to prevent this from happening again. Your feedback is very valuable, and we appreciate you bringing this to our attention.
Most poorly equipped rental we have ever stayed in
We really appreciated and enjoyed the view from the living room and deck. Therefore, I am sorry to write such a negative review, but we have stayed in many places, both with economy rates and high-end rates, and have never experienced such an ill equipped accommodation.
We first saw this house online, the price was half what we ended up paying for one week in July. We looked at the photos and realized that the furniture was old and shabby, but the price was reasonable and we were willing to overlook what we saw. When we booked a reservation for the second week of July, the price had doubled! We were unable to find another rental and decided to settle for this one and make do. However, we were not prepared for the fact that it is very poorly equipped house.
There was not a single box of Kleenex (tissue) in the entire house. We have never stayed in any kind of accommodation that was not supplied with tissue! Luckily, we had a box in the car.
The bathrooms had no washcloths or hand towels. We searched and finally found two washcloths tucked away in a cupboard. This house ostensibly seeks sleeps 6 people, so there should be at least 6 washcloths and hand towels. (When we were checking out at the end of the week, we loaded towels into the washer as directed by the instructions, and at that time we found the dryer full of towels.)
Before listing the inadequacies, I want to start with two maintenance issues:
1) The lowest of the railroad tie steps leading up to the front door is badly out of place and needs to be reset. It is dangerous.
2) The toilet in the downstairs bathroom runs continuously unless adjusted after each flush. If we had not been conscientious enough to wait around and make sure that the toilet stopped, there would be a great waste of water. The upstairs toilet usually needs an extra flush.
No soap for the showers.
No shampoo, but there were two large bottles of conditioner in the downstairs bath!
No plastic wrap for making lunches, no liquid dish soap in the dispenser at the sink. The old dishwasher pellets are hard as rocks. The refrigerator reeks of garlic and the baking soda for odor removal is very old. The beds are saggy and the ancient, decrepit pillows are a disgrace for any price rental. We are asking for a 50% refund and 50% of the applicable bed tax.
Thank you for your attention.

Thank you for your feedback Covert. We wish we received communications from you at arrival regarding your overall experience while you were in house to better your stay. We will relay your feedback to our local operations team for review and bettering the vacation experience moving forward.
The only 2 things I can say on a not so great note:
1. Water pressure sucks
2. The balcony rails on th0e lake side feel very unsteady.
Other then that, we had an awesome vacation. The views foe the cabin are gorgeous.
When it comes to this property, pictures truly do not do it justice. Not only was this home sparkling clean, the view was so incredible that we wanted to stay home and enjoy it all day! Not to mention we were walking distance to the shore. This stay was beyond what we expected and we will be returning soon!
Great spot for family fun. Loved Tahoe for it’s beautiful hikes and water options. West/California side beautifully rustic and residential while east side/Nevada much more commercial. So we very much enjoyed being in this area which meant very few restaurant options to get to in less than 25 minutes. Comfy beds with plenty of space. Kitchen well stocked, but maybe too much so, as there was a door-ful of used condiments of various ages, butters, dressings etc with a frozen meal and leftover liquors in the freezer- unusual compared to other VRBOs we’ve rented.. the clean was adequate. Some disjointed communication with the management company. Thank you Pat and Debbie for opening your home to us.!!
The house was not clean, the furniture was disgustingly dirty, all the food or what was listed as food items were all expired products, I have photos to prove. We tried using the private beach area and were told we could not, after we have showed them the key/membership. It took the management a day to respond on where the trash area was.

Hi Samir,
Thank you for bringing all the kitchen items to our attention. Our team has been notified of this to clear out the pantry of expired products. Additionally, our listing has been adjusted to remove the private beach access. We are very sorry for the confusion and will make sure to provide the most accurate information for our guests. Thank you!
