Treasure Nest, comfortable home with nautical themes and strait/mountain views
Welcome to the Treasure Nest! This cozy two bedroom, one bath bungalow is located in a quaint residential neighborhood high on a bluff in West Port Angeles, a gateway city to Olympic National park. Enjoy the brand new king and queen beds with extra pillows, a fully fenced yard, quiet and safe neighborhood, partial views of the Strait of Juan de Fuca, including Vancouver Island and Victoria, and views of some mountain peaks. Ther is a vintage record player with several dozen records, a beautiful fully stocked kitchen, and incredible sunsets from the windows.
This adorable home is thoughtfully decorated throughout the home with ships, lighthouses, octopus and the occasional mermaid. You will immediately feel the good vibe when you enter the place. This is where you can relax inside or outside and change your views depending on your mood. Coffee is provided to help you start the day.
Like to jog? The Olympic Discovery Trail is 3/4 of a mile from the Nest. Get ready for the day while your kids play in the fully fenced, private back yard which has a large porch and places to sit. Speaking of kids, we also have a Pack ‘N Play available for your use! The ferry to Victoria is minutes away, and a day trip to the Olympic coast is just a 90 minute drive. Lake Crescent isn’t far down the road. Crown Park is two blocks away and offers a playground and a short trail down to beach combing on Ediz Hook. It’s highly possible you will see deer in the front yard while you visit.
We are so thrilled to share this amazing space with you! I grew up in the area and can give great advice on hiking of all levels and where the secret beaches are.
Guests will have the entire property to themselves, except for the detached garage. Entry is from the side which has just one small step to the back door.

Great access to Olympic, and the host also offered suggestions for exploring Port Angeles (such as a great spot for tide pools). Kitchen had everything we needed, and the nautical themed decorations were fun for the kids!
Everything was perfect and easy at Treasure Nest! Thank you! Everything we needed was there and any question we had was in the info book! House was clean, beds were comfortable and location could not have been better!
The owner was very nice that offered storing our luggages for our early arrival and then offered early check- in. The property has everything we needed for staying there. The location was very convenient for short distance to Olympic National Park, city center, shopping, and restaurants. We will stay in this property next time.
This was a very nice home, it was the perfect layout for our family while visiting the area. Safe area and parking, it was clean inside and out, and the washer/dryer saved us from the laundromat. Overall a very relaxing place after long travel days and visiting Olympic. Thank you!
It was very helpful to have everything labeled. Everything you could need was provided. Clean, organized well. We enjoyed watching the birds from the dining table. We also enjoyed the many outdoor seating options - front porch, and back patio. Location was quiet and near to town. We were traveling with a toddler and there were too many knick knacks at a low level. Also blackout blinds would have been greatly appreciated. But other than that it was an excellent property and we enjoyed it very much. I would definitely return.

Thanks so much! We appreciate to hear a few things we can improve!
The Treasure Nest was a great choice. It was impeccably clean and comfortable. The decor was fun and eclectic but still quite elegant (not always easy to pull off!). Access to get inside as well as parking was simple and convenient. The host was easy to work with and written information provided at the home regarding expectations as well as restaurants and things to do was excellent. One thing I appreciated was generous access to supplies such as coffee, detergent, etc. In some places we’ve stayed you might get enough coffee for the first day but after that you have to make a run to the store. Not an issue at the Treasure Nest. (We, of course, made sure not to take advantage either.) We enjoyed our time there very much and it was a great jumping off place for the National Parks and also ferrying in from touring in Victoria, as well as beach walks. If ever in the area again we would check availability at the Treasure Nest first. Thanks to our host for a lovely stay in the beautiful city of Port Angeles.
