The Neighborhood: This is a quiet “Old Sarasota” neighborhood, approximately 5 minutes from downtown by car. You will need a car to make the most of your stay in Sarasota. The neighborhood is quite walkable, but it is residential, and there is not very much activity within a 10 minute walk. This is a quiet and tranquil community, and sounds tend to carry easily here. Please be mindful of your volume during your stay.

Noise Detector, Cameras, and Security: There is a noise detector in the living room which does not record or transmit audio - its only function is to report loud noises. Although the neighborhood is quite safe, there may be petty crime just like anywhere else in the USA. Please make sure to lock your vehicles and doors at night, just as you would at home. There are security cameras on the exterior of the home at the driveway and the back-yard. There are no cameras inside.
