Unlike some other visits, this host was on top of her game. She provided all the information we need to access and operate the property, well ahead of schedule so we did not need to panic. She then provided all the exit information ahead of time. Instructions were very clear. The place itself was outstanding, a huge space with multiple rooms, fully furnished, clean and gorgeous back yard and patio. I had to bring my son over who lives nearby, just to brag.

Fabulous space!

Audrey and Jordie were wonderful hosts, and went out of their way to make my stay as lovely as possible -- and they succeeded! A big plus is fhe fabulous decor -- they're true artists. I'm jealous.

They waited until I booked to let me know that the house was under construction.The construction was not at all a problem but it was a little shocking on arrival. The space was very nice, as the owner proudly said all had been, found, salvaged, recycled or upcycled, which is admirable!The garden was very nice, the other tenants, lovely.But there was a miscommunication regarding the time my dog sitter (the owners dog sitter) was to be with my puppy while I was at a wedding 3 min up the street and he cried for an hour and supposedly ruined a brand new (?) leather ottoman which I hadn't noticed, the damage or the ottoman. I asked for photos before and after and proof of purchase before I paid them the 875 they were asking for. The only visual sent was a screenshot of a leather ottoman from the internet. But I think the worst is that they sent me 10 emails 2 , (1 payment due and 1 payment overdue), all in 1 day! I felt seriously harrassed. So sad, because I would have given this place a better rating.

Perfect in every way. Beautifully and comfortably decorated ...everything possible anyone would need. Quiet, clean, nice neighborhood, and close to everything. Lovely backyard, also very comfortable with everything at your fingertips you would need. Very thoughtful and playful and owners are always an email away. I hope to go back.

Temescal retreat with personality

We had a great time staying here! The apartment is beautifully decorated with a sense of character and design; it has a lot of thoughtful touches like lots of USB plugs, cozy blankets, and the best stocked kitchen we've ever seen. The backyard garden is gorgeous and we enjoyed sitting on the redwood back deck, feeding their cute dogs treats (thoughtfully provided on the kitchen counter). The dogs are well trained and the owners are there to supervise them. The property owners live upstairs and are very responsive to messages; they also gave us a ton of gluten free and veg-friendly restaurant suggestions. The location is great, very close to the BART station and bus stops, in an area with plenty of good shops and restaurants.

Absolutely loved staying here. Was in town with a friend for a trail race nearby. This spot was perfectly located for getting to and from that and for convalescing after. Easy to get to from SFO and right of Telegraph Ave. Was a bonus to have an outdoor space. Audrey and Jordie were very responsive and had some very good dogs(: would definitely stay here again.
