The Happy Cabin Two Bedroom Townhouse consists of the downstairs 1 bedroom and full bath cabin with a fully equipped kitchen combined with the upstairs studio and shower bath in a custom designed 1200 sq. ft duplex log building. The downstairs cabin has a large deck with an electric grill opening onto 40 acres with Methow River bank within walking distance. The upstairs studio also has a balcony with views of the surrounding landscape and mountains.
Cabin amenities included a kitchen with updated appliances and a large log dining table with seating for 6. The open concept living area with cathedral ceilings includes a log futon, love seat and chair, gas fireplace and a 45" flat screen Smart TV with satellite reception and Netflix and DVD player. The bedroom has a queen bed and twin bed with a full bath stocked with linens for 3 occupants.
Studio amenities also include a 32# flat screen Smart TV with satellite reception and Netflix and DVD player, mini-refrigerator, microwave, Keurig coffee maker and iPod player. The studio has a queen bed and twin bed with a shower bath stocked with linens for 3 occupants.
Both units have access to the pool and hot tub (seasonal use). Spa towels, complimentary toiletries and hair dryers are provided.

Great cabin on ski trail

This cabin is in an ideal location for cross-country skiers, right on the Methow Valley Community Trail. It has a nice rustic vibe and responsive property managers.

Nice place

Stayed here and went skiing for a week. Loved how close it was to the MCT. One bed had a memory foam mattress. Would have liked more blankets for the beds so we didn't have to use as much heat at night, especially when it got down to 0 at night.

A fun stay in cold weather

The log cabin is great - cozy and well insulated, which was very useful during our stay, as the outside temperature dropped to nearly -25F, and we needed to keep the inside nearly 100 F warmer than the outside! And it's nicely situated, very close to the Methow Valley XC skiing trail. The heating system was a little shaky though: the electric heaters did not work in one bedroom, and the gas fireplace, our main source of heat, had a broken thermostat and temperature regulation could only be done by turning it on and off manually. The cabin keepers were very helpful, and answered our request for fixing these problems promptly. They even arrived to help us jump-start our car on the coldest morning, which was thankfully not needed - the call for help came from our neighbors and the keepers showed up at the wrong place.

Cozy cabin next to the XC tracks

Perfect location next to the XC tracks. Quiet neighborhood and cozy cabin with hot tub facility. Not too long of a drive to Winthrop for an after-ski beer.

Nice location if you have come to ski for a few days

Love these log cabins and being right on the ski trail! They have the check in and out down. They are not close to main street; no walking to town, but so quiet and cozy on a winter night.
