About the host
Hosted by Alice Ross
Welcome to Georgetown! My husband Chris and I built Moss House from the ground up to share with friends, family, and curious travelers from around the world. When we're not renting it we enjoy spending time at the cabin with our two sons. I'm originally from England, and Chris is from Maine. Hope to see you in the MidCoast soon!
Why they chose this property
Georgetown is one of Maine's many hidden treasures. Only 1 hour from Portland, endless possibilities on the water, gorgeous woods, hiking, beaches, the most delicious seafood, fresh water swimming, peace, tranquility, and everything our souls need.
What makes this property unique
So many things make Moss House special --- from her carbon-capturing compressed straw insulation, the feeling of being suspended over the woods and waters, like a treehouse all grown up. Some have said it's the best shower on the Midcoast :) We can't wait to share it with you!
