My family and I loved our stay. The location on the river was beautiful and we enjoyed all of the outdoor activities. The cabin was spacious and included everything that we needed. We look forward to staying here again in the future.
What a great house. Loved fishing off the dock and the quiet setting. Piggly Wiggly in town was easy to get to and great for local groceries. Great for outdoor family fun.
Property was stunning with every amenity we could use. Terry, our host, was exceptional! Even heloed us out when we locked ourselves out! This was an exceptional stay. Very pleasant experience and the facality, grounds, and views were WAY above expectations. Thank you so much
Cabin was clean and pet friendly. The beds were comfortable and enjoyed the decorations. The only issues were there's a wasps nest somewhere in the bedroom behind the kitchen and the light bulb in the stairway was burned out, which made it really dark. Other than that we had a great time.
We enjoyed our short stay at the River's Edge. I'm afraid the weather didn't allow us to enjoy the property as much as we would have liked, but it's a really nice property. Outdoor furniture was all dirty, but I guess it's that time of year...and then it started raining. It was a great place1
Very good place to stay. Couple of ways to improve ie the third floor bedroom needs a chest of drawers. Had to handle clothing needs off the floor. Also, the outdoor deck has a loft that hasn't been cleaned in years, collecting trash/dust on a small bed mattress which is overhead. Shouldn't have taken the ladder up to see what was over our head.
This is a very nice property and the river is great. Location was peaceful and 15-20 minutes to town, which was convenient. The outdoor area was not clean. There was cat hair on all of the porch furniture and the outdoor furniture in the picture near the outdoor fireplace was nasty and basically unusable. The "Green Egg" had old charcoal in it and wasn't very useable. It took us about an hour to get the porch furniture clean enough to be sittable. What's not in the description is that this is a stilt home. All of the living spaces are 18 steps above the ground and the Master bedroom is another 18 steps above that. So packing in our stuff and moving around the property is great if you are in training for climbing Mt Everest. Not so much for day to day living and walking down to the river. It's really a shame. Its such a nice property and has huge potential. A little more attention to detail and general upkeep would make it a 5 star for me, but its not there and I think others have mentioned that as well. I felt like we were paying for someone's play house and they weren't very accommodating to their tenants. We paid a premium price for a less than premium property. Its a pass for the next time we are in the area.

Hi there,
I am so sorry your stay was not up to your expectations.
I’m not sure why there would be cat hair unless there was a stray… we will get this taken care of and would have been happy to if you would have reached out during stay and that goes for everything you had a issue with.
As far as the steps it is mentioned in the properties description.
I just want to express again how sorry I am that you did not enjoy your stay and we will get these issues fixed.
