Unit 3 provides a unique combination: immediate beach access without the beachfront price. You're literally five seconds further from the water than the gulf-front units, yet you'll enjoy better pricing and equally updated accommodations. The covered patio with four-top table and chairs is perfect for morning coffee overlooking tropical gardens, leisurely breakfasts in the shade, or evening card games with the fountain's gentle sounds nearby.

Completely Renovated & Solar Powered
After an extensive year-long renovation completed in late 2025, Unit 3 is brand new throughout. Every element has been thoughtfully updated—furnishings, kitchen, bathroom, fixtures, linens, and technology. The entire property operates on solar power, demonstrating commitment to environmental sustainability.
Unit 3 is slightly smaller than Units 1, 2, and 4—approximately 80 square feet less to accommodate the shared laundry room. The efficient layout enhances the cozy, intimate feel that many couples and small families prefer.

King bed in bedroom with Smart TV, comfortable sleeper sofa in living room. Accommodates up to 4 guests. The covered patio with four-top table becomes your outdoor living room. Charcoal grills on property. Beach chairs stored onsite. Shared laundry room. Linens, towels, and beach towels provided.
Despite being slightly smaller, Unit 3 offers the same complete renovation and amenities. Smart TV, ultra-fast WiFi (up to 1 gig), fully equipped kitchen with wine fridge, renovated bathroom with walk-in shower, and new furnishings throughout.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Beach Lovers #3 is perfect for two people. The beach is right in your back yard! The Holmes Beach location is ideal. The quiet side street gets none of the traffic and private parking is provided. The property is very clean and decorated in a beachy welcoming way. Everything looks just like the photos online. All appliances were new and worked well. We had a rental car and it was very easy to get to restaurants and shopping areas. Next year we might try renting a golf cart! Sarasota is less than a half hour away, and we really enjoyed visiting The Ringling museum complex. We also drove to St. Pete to see The Imagine glass museum. We highly recommend both! But the best experience was relaxing on the beach with a good book and viewing the spectacular sunsets. On our last evening, we even spied 2 dolphins swimming by! A few amenities that were missing and would have been appreciated: a box of Kleenex, coffee filters for the coffee maker, (that made surprisingly GOOD coffee!), a couple extra rolls of TP, a full-length mirror. Other than that, Beach Lovers #3 has most everything needed for a wonderful beach vacation. And that’s why we booked for the third year in a row!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Cockroach was left in bedroom dead upon arrival and left as was in corner behind door. Experienced some bugs on Thursday and contacted staff and they sent maintenance and he arrived as was showering and he waited for a bit then left and to knowledge never returned after we left and returned later Thursday nor Friday. Bugs were still on curtains in bedroom and signs they had been in bathroom when left. They carried something like nettles onto window sealin bedroom but could not determine point of entry.

Place needs someone who pays attention to detail. It’s the little things that make a big impact!

Please, only share this review with the owner. Place smelled musty, always felt wet and sticky when inside, would have loved to spend more time on the patio but coughing from the red tide made it difficult to enjoy the outdoors. The place needs a dehumidifier. Cockroaches, they thrive in damp places, they were very disgusting. A beach house should have places to hang beach bags, towels and swim suits. Not a single hook in the place. Full length mirror would be great as well. Very minimum and cheap necessities were provided. The Saran Wrap didn't even have the serrated edge for cutting. We had to purchase more paper products just to get through our week vacation. The bed is sunken on both sides which creates a lump in the middle. The price charged for a nights stay is equivalent to a luxury suite, I would have expected better accommodations. The kitchen utensils and beach supplies were adequate. The remodeled bathroom was very nice, shower was amazing! Bathroom light switch was broke.

Quiet and Perfect

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Love Unit 3, had everything we could have ever needed- even a box fan which is needed for sleep. You just walk out your door , turn right and you are headed for the ocean. The only 2 issues I had was we had no umbrella which maintenance dropped off quickly and the living room could was well a bit too used. We stayed a full week and were even able to check out later which was great. Definitely will stay here again.

Would have loved to stay in one of the rentals on the front side but none were open. Would be willing to stay again on front side. The bed was a little too firm for me and my husband, but everything else inside was great. The beach chairs could use some updating. They were very weathered and some of the fabric chairs were actually dry rotting. I would have much preferred the metal loungers that some of the other locations had for their guests.
