Andover Cottage: Comfortable family home with hot tub

Tucked into the forested hills of rural East Sooke, this comfortable family home offers views of the Sooke Harbour and surrounding area. The home features three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a hot tub on a large view deck, a fenced back garden, and a fireplace with a seating area. The property is close to East Sooke Regional Park, the Galloping Goose Trail, and is just around the corner from public tennis courts.

Our house rules: primary renter must be 25 or older, no smoking, no parties or events. Pets permitted.
Check-in 5pm, check-out 11am except high season when it is 10am.

Additional policies described in Guest Agreement. Guest must sign a Guest Agreement and return it to Island Vacation Homes Ltd before arrival.

We enjoyed the house because it was spacious and dog friendly with pretty hiking near by. Good fenced in yard for our dog. The driveway is very long and steep. If it’s icy, it could be difficult.

Amazing house. Lots of space and extremely comfortable for my kids, husband and family. Beautiful area, very quiet and peaceful. Owner has great communication and accommodated early check-in for us. The house had everything, there was no need to get anything other than groceries. I'd highly recommend this place and will definitely be back!

Communication was great. Beds were comfortable. Shower curtain is too tight and sticks to your body. I curved curtain rod would greatly improve the shower experience. The only reason I didn't give this a 5 star was the musty smell. We tried everything to clear it up. Well stocked kitchen. Home Is nice place to relax.

If you don't mind driving for day trips this home is so cozy and beautifully secluded it will make your vacation extra special. Our dog stayed with us, too and we had no issues whatsoever. Very clean, great communication, luxurious hottub and barbeque!

The place was large with a great wood stove. It had everything we needed but there was quite a strong musty/old house smell.

Guest commented when she arrived that there was a smokey smell. I assured her that no one smokes in the house. That day was the last legal day of open burning in the area, so an odour may have gotten into the and lingered there. Carpets had been recently cleaned. Opening a window was all that was needed. Andover Cottage is a pet friendly older home, and is priced accordingly. Andover Cottage is located in beautiful East Sooke close to amazing hiking trails and hidden beaches. It is a great place to relax.

A little retreat

The location is in a beautiful area. It was a unique and cozy home to enjoy a long weekend in and the hot tub was a lovely bonus. The kitchen had anything one might need including a blender and there was plenty of seating available for all of us. We would definitely come back here again.

We had a great stay! Close to the ocean and great view from the deck! Unfortunately the weather wasnt the best so having the wood fireplace and the hot tub was definitely a bonus.

The house was quite large and very comfortable. It has excellent kitchen supplies beyond what you'd imagine so we were able to prepare a lovely Easter dinner withh all the trimmings with no lack of tools or dishes. The view from the deck and hot tub is beautiful. There are plenty of towels and paper supplies. Just a wonderful.spot to have a great vacation.

The Cabin has everything.

A beautiful property that truly has everything you need for a great stay. Big kitchen, large outdoor area, great bedrooms, and relative seclusion with amenities close by. We had a 2 day fishing charter; the cabin is so close to the marina and a lovely place to stay after being on the ocean for 8 hours.
