Great location. The house and property have good potential for renting but it is bare. Hardly any furniture, decor or seating. Also lacking essentials such as cookware, towels, etc.

We enjoyed our four days at the cabin! The cabin was large but could have used more furniture in living room. The bathrooms were nice except the drain in the large bathroom didn't drain very well. We were never given the Wi-Fi access code! Nice large lot and grandkids enjoyed kayaks!
Nice area and place didnt realize the bunk house had no electricity or water. Lack luster amount of furniture for a place that has 8 beds. One couch up stairs with a 4 person didning table and the same for downstairs

Rush lake is a beautiful spot, nice large property. Lots of space in house, nice to have the separate bunk house (no electricity out there though, so battery operated fans might be a good idea). Docks are nice, not a good swimming spot but that is common on these lakes, several good sandy places to boat to. At the time of our rental, there was minimal furniture (the listing pictures were not representative). For example, the dining room table was a small round table for 4. One sofa in living room. Kitchen not well stocked in terms of silverware, plates, etc (there were around 5 forks, if I recall). Check in time in listing did not match that in instructions we were sent, so might want to clarify that if it’s important to you.

The kitchen isn’t well stocked. We were prepared for that thanks to other reviews so we did meal prep prior to arrival. We brought disposable plates, cups and utensils but the garbage bin is small. We were instructed, at check-in, that we were required to take all garbage that didn’t fit in the bin with us when we left the property. There is AC in the main living space but bedrooms and basement get warm, so bring fans. The property listing advertises, sleeps 16, but there’s only enough beds to sleep 11. The living room has one small couch and the kitchen table has 4 chairs. Fortunately, we brought extra folding chairs, pillows and blankets. The location is great with a lot of yard space to gather and play yard games. The beach area and shoreline is weedy but that’s to be expected.
Overall our stay was okay once we arrived. The main issue with this listing was communication from the property manager and check in process. The booking details provided after booking indicate a 1pm check-in time. However the manager then messaged that check-in was 2pm. On the day of arrival we were traveling from 3 hours away and the manager messaged us 20 minutes before pulling up to the property that there was a scheduling issue. He shared that the cleaners would be late and we would not be able to get into to the property until 6pm. He said we should wait to come until later or drop items off and wait outside. We replied with 2 messages and attempted to call the manager twice. He never replied to us in any manner. This was very frustrating and put a stressful start to our weekend. Another difficult process was at check out. We were instructed to put garbage into the bins and take whatever did not fit with us back home. However, the bins were already full upon arrival from previous guests so there was no where to put trash from the entire weekend with 13 guests. Aside from this, the property itself had nice outdoor space and we were able to enjoy the weekend thanks to the cleaning staff who were very helpful once we arrived. It’s a nice place for a large group but would be aware that communication is very very poor.
