Luxury, comfort, and panoramic views of Lake Travis and the Texas Hill Country await you in this gorgeous 2 bedroom, 2 bath villa at the Island on Lake Travis resort. Completely updated in 2017 with decorator appointments and new furnishings throughout, this villa can sleep 6 people comfortably and has access to all the amenities at the Island Resort including 2 outdoor pools with hot tubs, one indoor pool with hot tub, an onsite restaurant, workout facility, tennis courts, and outdoor picnic area. This villa is approximately 1200 sq ft and has a king bed in the master bedroom with private bath and a guest bedroom with 2 sets of twin over full bunk beds. Additional amenities in this villa include a spacious covered patio with hammock and comfortable furniture, HDTVs, WiFi and washer/dryer. This villa has it all - luxury, comfort, beautiful lakefront setting, and is convenient to all the amenities at the Island Resort. Come check it out!

Welcome to The Island On Lake Travis, an elegant condo complex that offers luxurious Lake Travis waterfront accommodations located on a 14-acre island. This gated resort offers condos for rent whether it be long or short term. A very unique aspect about our property is each condo is done to individual owners taste.

The Island on Lake Travis is the perfect spot to enjoy a relaxing romantic escape, and enjoy wildlife and breathtaking sunset views over the lake.
There are plenty of local attractions to explore to keep you busy if you are looking for something fun and exciting to do. Take a day trip to Marble Falls or Fredericksburg, check out one of the 18 hole golf courses nearby, or enjoy a wine tasting at a Flat Creek Winery!
When you rent from North Shore Vacation Rentals, you can expect top-notch customer service, and dedication to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Each of our condo's come with a fully equipped kitchen and linens for the bedrooms and baths. Covered Parking is on ground level with reserved parking, and additional “guest” spaces as well. There are 5 elevators on property.

We provide our guests with check in information prior to their arrival, which will include the front gate code, assigned parking spaces, directions to the condo and door code for added convenience. (Front Desk Check-In is not required, and allows guests to arrive and access condo late at night if necessary).

Beautiful Home, Perfect for a Family Stay!

Excellent views and relaxing stay

Its a really great place for spending weekend with friends and kids. Pool and tennis courts were fun. I wish the pool would have been cleaner, it was full of bugs that bothered my kids a lot. Overall an enjoyable stat.

This was one of the best place to stay for a friends getaway during covid. Interior decor was on point. Did a lot of cooking so there was many pots and pans, utensils, seasoning, coffee maker, blender, etc. The patio is beautiful. It overlooked the pool/hot ub and river. Beds were super comfy. And bathroom was huge and beautiful, even had a whirlpool tub. Total relaxation.

Girls Getaway

This is our 2nd time staying in this condo. The complex is on its only island surrounded by Lake Travis with pools, tennis courts, lake access and lots of friendly deer that wonder the property. The unit is in a great location overlooking the lake and the pool with easy access to the elevator and other amenities. It is clean and nicely decorated and has plenty room for the 4 of us. We will go back!

We just had our vacation at this location and it was fantastic. My only negative was we were unable to get the Wii system working for our children and I did reach out for help unsuccessful by the owner. The AC went out but in the whole building and that was fixed within an hour or so. Other than that, great location.

The only problem we had was that the coffee pot had not been cleaned out & was moldy. The beds were very comfortable and slept well. The entire facility was very nice. The furnishings was great & it was a very enjoyable stay. Liked the decor and the extra games available. There seemed to be a problem with the heating unit on keeping both bedrooms regulated. The first bedroom was hot & the second room was cold. Overall it was a pleasant stay with a beautiful view overlooking the pool & the lake. Enjoyed the surroundings.

Nice weekend away by the lake

We chose this condo over other ones in the community because of the view of the pool and the lake. The condo was recently renovated with updated colors and countertops. The beds in both bedrooms were comfy. Our bedroom was the master and it had a door that opened up to the large patio that overlooked the pool. The noise carried in the open space and one night we could hear people on their balcony until 3am. The grounds of this property were so green and lush. We felt like we were treating ourselves to a Mediterranean location. We would definately come back.

The condon was very roomy for six people for one of the weeks we were there. There's a beautiful view from the balcony. It could use some tlc. We had to clean cobwebs off the balcony and the garbage can was filthy. The sheets on king bed had holes in them. The pillows and towels were stained. I notified. The complex was very nice but the indoor hot tub was over chlorinated and then didn't work for for the weeks that we were there.My grandsons lived feeding the deer.

nice but following improvements recommended...fix coffee pot, separate ice maker, and left burners of stove; add blue ray remote (can't work it without it) and hot pads, clean vents and fans, clean master bath drawer and don't forget to give the dock gate code when renting a boat slip. Also, more specific instructions on boat launch would help. Used low water one to launch thankfully since nobody was in guard shack on Sun to get pass to park like mentioned in email.

Expected a lot more. TV remote wasnt working. Got told that they need to replace the unit/remote. AC switch was off and wasn't told about it for 24 hours. When they eventually turned it on, the AC unit was leaking water. Probably why it was turned off. Coffee machine had left over coffee powder filled with fungus. Just wish there were instructions on how to use appliances.

Beautiful view

The view was beautiful. The house was clean and comfortable. The fitness center and the indoor and outdoor pools were very nice. My only complaint is that the restaurant at the resort was only open after 6:00 pm except on Sundays. The food options were limited too.

Condo could use some TLC

Upon arrival the AC was off but was able to call the emergency line and we were able to get to on.. But it never cooled down the first night from 79 degrees…Also the cable subscription was expired so no tv… Called office at opening time of 10am and was able to get the maintenance man up to look at the unit promptly and determined the drain pan was clogged causing the compressor sensor to trip but he got it working like a champ. Also the cable boxes were switched out in a couple of hours and was all good for evening tv. The family had a good time at the pool and the boat rental from Lago Vista Boat rentals.. and a ton of friendly deer everywhere.. We will return to this property.

A great getaway

My family and I had a great time. The sunsets at the pool were breath taking, and the family of deer roaming around the property are always fun to watch. The accommodations were certainly well taken care of and updated. Beds and couches were comfortable, there is a tv in each of the rooms and the the rainfall shower head is nice after a long hot day at the pool. The property is great for pictures and is within driving distance to a lot of different venues.

We had so much fun and must return! The restaurant has limited hours of operation, but very good food when available. Pools were cleaned daily, very refreshing. Loved the lake access.

This condo was perfect for our big girls trip. Centrally located to all the complex amenities with a dead on, panoramic view to the pool and sunset. Condo was clean, bed were comfortable. Property manager was very responsive. We will be back.

Girls Trip

This was a perfect condo for our girls getaway. The island was unique and beautifully landscaped. The condo was spacious with a great patio overlooking the pool and lake. The onsite maintenance people were friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back.

Location great, condo bad

First, the condo needs some updating. Tile is cracked, towels are old (and you only get 4 towels), blinds are missing here and there and the overall condition feels a little dingy. We didn't have any toilet paper upon arrival but thankfully, we had a roll in the car. Biggest issue was the air conditioning. It never worked for our entire stay however they did send a nice, elderly man over but he confessed he isn't "an HVAC man" and didn't really know what to do. They brought in two portable units but tempature never went below 77 degrees and sleeping was uncomfortable.
