About this property
Beautiful Cabin on a hill with scenic view
This cozy 3 bedroom, 2 bath cabin is located in East TN in the Appalachian Mountains just 4 miles from the Appalachian Trail. The Watauga River is only 50 feet away where there is great fly fishing for Rainbow and Brown Trout. There is also white water rafting, canoeing and kayaking on the level II and III rapids. Just 4 miles up the road is both the Wilbur and Watauga Lakes where you can do additional fishing or if you have a boat you can explore the many inlets of the Watauga Lake while skiing. This cabin was built by the owner and it has beautiful wood work details from multiple types of wood. This cabin is great for a group gathering of exploring or to just relax on the front porch and enjoy the beautiful mountains and landscape. Dogs welcome but YOU MUST CONTACT THE HOST FOR APPROVAL.

We were very pleased with the accomodations. Trout were caught in the nearby Watauga River. The UFO landing in the field up the hill was exciting. No one fell in the river or was abducted!
Easy to find and book, Cabin #12 was situated with a beautiful view, plenty of space for our family of 5, very clean, in a quiet area. Convenient to shopping and restaurants. We’ll definitely stay here again!
