About this property

Hot Tub + Lake Views, Updated Grand Lake Retreat

What a view! This cabin is just what you have been looking for in a get-away. Plenty of sleeping space, lots of outdoor space, a beautiful view of Shadow Mountain Lake and beyond to Grand Lake on the wrap-around porch; a great place to relax after a day of hiking, boating, golfing, snowmobiling, ice fishing, or skiing. Located just 2 miles to downtown Grand Lake with quaint shops and restaurants, 8 miles to the west entrance of Rocky Mountain National Park, there is no shortage of things to see and do within a few minutes of the home.

If you prefer to stay in and relax you'll enjoy the views while sipping on your favorite beverage from the deck, make a home cooked meal, read or play games on the game table in basement.

There's a good chance you'll see some wildlife including fox, moose, deer, bald eagles, osprey, hummingbirds, and black bears during your stay. If you go into RMNP, you'll likely see more of the local residents including elk, marmots, pika, and big horn sheep.

In the spring and early summer, aspens come to life and wildflowers dot the property including Columbine (the state flower), daisies, wild roses, arnica and more.

Take in the beauty of the dark night sky, if you have clear weather, this is a great place to see some shooting stars, planets, satellites, and the Milky Way.

Amazing views! House had everything we needed, and was well stocked for a staycation in the mountains for a winter weekend. We took advantage of the hot tub and the heater while sitting outside in the sun!

Rewrite the given text as a polished, engaging short review of a vacation house rental that highlights its cleanliness, comfort, suitable spaces for both solitude and family time, and the enjoyable presence of wildlife nearby.Steps:1. Start with an opening sentence that captures the positive overall impression.2. Emphasize cleanliness and maintenance of the house.3. Mention the comfortable feeling of being "at home".4. Note that each family member had a space for relaxation, yet there were opportunities to gather.5. Highlight the unique enjoyment of wildlife visits from the backyard.6. Use warm and inviting language throughout.Output Format:A concise, well-written paragraph formatted as a vacation rental review, around 80-120 words. Our first annual family outing as a family with grown kids was perfectly complemented by our stay at the Grand Lake house. Immaculately maintained and spotless, the home felt like a cozy haven away from home. Each of us found our own quiet space to unwind, yet we cherished the moments we gathered to reconnect as a family. The delightful surprise was the frequent wildlife visitors right outside the backyard, adding a magical touch to our stay.

Hi Harrison, I'm not sure what appliances you were noticing needed maintenance. We just bought all the appliances in the summer of 2024. We have updated most everything in the house since we bought it in 2020 and continue to improve the home on a regular basis as we use it ourselves almost every other weekend so we try to keep everything in good working order. We will be replacing windows and carpet in the next few months which are some of the bigger items. Sorry if you experienced any issues that we weren't aware of.
