This Rent In Highlands vacation rental home is pet friendly for one small dog, under 20 pounds. Pets must be pre-approved. An additional non-refundable pet fee is required and is not included in the rental fee. Please call our office for approval and to pay the pet  fee. Failure to adhere to this policy will result in a $1000.00 fine.

Only adults (25 years old and older) may reserve this property and an adult must occupy the property at all times.

This French Country home was custom built by a renowned Atlanta Decorator and features antique wood and French clay tile floors, stone masonry fireplaces in the living room, kitchen and screened porch. Situated on 4 lushly wooded acres on historic Billy Cabin Road, within walking distance to Mirror Lake. Enjoy the wonderful view of Satulah Mountain from the back-double level porches with wood burning outdoor fireplace.

Main Level:
The main level includes a primary suite that offers convenient access to the main living areas, making it perfect for those who want easy access to the kitchen, living room, and other spaces.

Upper Level:
The upper level is home to a spacious primary suite with its own private open-air balcony, offering panoramic views of the beautiful acreage and mountain vistas. This suite also boasts a large dressing room, furnished with a fine antique chaise lounge, adding to the suite’s elegance and charm.

Lower Level:
The terrace level features a guest den, flanked by two large guest suites. Each suite includes its own private bathroom, offering guests privacy and comfort while staying in this beautiful mountain home. The lower level also provides access to the home’s outdoor spaces.

Enjoyed the spaciousness of the house and the porch. Lots of different sitting areas for family to spread out when needed. Very nice kitchen and refrigerator. Close proximity to Highlands which was nice to come and go when we wanted. Alicien was very nice to work with

Loved the house and the location.

Loved the house and the location. Who wouldn’t like a fireplace in the kitchen while making a meal on a cold day? Things we feel need to be addressed are: Bathrooms need more towel bars and/or hooks. Lighting is pretty dim throughout the house and probably could use 100 watt lightbulbs and not the LED ones that make it feel like you’re in a cafeteria! Biggest issue for us all were the mattresses. Awful. They all need to be replaced. Some Sag in the middle and some too lumpy. I made the agent aware of a leg missing off the club chair in the kitchen but improvised with books. Other than these few suggestions, it was perfect. Efficient and speedy when it came to returning emails

Great place

Beautiful home!! We enjoyed our stay. The house is decorated beautifully, and everything was clean upon arrival. We loved the fireplaces and cozy nooks throughout the house. A chair was broken in the kitchen, but I’m sure they will have that fixed. Make sure to give yourself enough time to wash towels. We had guest wanting to shower before their travel home but the wash took longer than anticipated.

Beautiful location in the mountains

Three couples enjoyed this home that was beautifully decorated and comfortable. It was convenient to the town of Highlands while being in a wonderfully private setting. Very spacious home with comfortable living areas.

Well designed and appointed home in Wooded Mountain

This home is well thought out in its design. A lot of love has been put into it. The advertisement of this home underestimates it...it is beautiful and spacious. Wood floors are amazing, high ceilings and decor match. Fine furniture--not your typical rental. Layout is well designed. Top ratings for this home!

Labor Day stay
