Apartment Flamingo in Fort Myers/Villa Barra

Welcome to our little paradise in Florida!

Come and enjoy some magic days at our Barra Villa Resort, which is well renowned for its sophisticated and playful atmosphere. The resort consists all in all of 8 lovely apartments and studios.

Lucky us that we found and bought this cute house!

The house consists of 3 units: the "Apartment Pelican", the "Apartment Flamingo" and the "Studio Turtle".

Each accommodation has its own entrance as well as a private bathroom, kitchen, and living-/sleeping-area. If requested, we are able to connect the Apartment Flamingo and the Studio Turtle to one big apartment which offers space for up to 5 adults.

The common outdoor area offers many different seating possibilities.

If you let us know early, it’s also possible to rent the entire Villa Barra II or the entire Resort.

Our Apartment with the special beach flair!

maritime designed 1-BR accommodation - day bed for a third person in the eat-in kitchen - completely new designed shower bath (which can be entered from the bedroom) - well-equipped kitchen counter with all necessary tableware

You will be delighted by the beach atmosphere at our Apartment Flamingo.

The Apartment welcomes you with various shades of blue and will make you feel like you are on a warm and sunny beach. The well-equipped eat-in kitchen with a dining table also has a flatscreen TV and a day bed which is an appropriate sleeping possibility for a third person, if needed.

The closet in the light-flooded bedroom offers enough space for your clothes and for newly bought memories.

From the bedroom, which is equipped with one Queen-size bed, you have access to the shower bath which is completely renovated and separated by a sliding door. Towels and linens are part of the equipment of the Apartment Flamingo for granted.

Summer, sun, and sunshine - you have certainly deserved it!

Clean and comfortable

We found it walkable (or trolley) to restaurants, bakery, brewery, Publix, wharf, Thomas Edison Estate, galleries, museum, theatre, A shoppers paradise if you have a car. Warm pool mostly to ourselves. Very clean.

Flaming Apartment Florida Vacation

My husband and I stayed at the Flamingo apartment vacation rental in Ft Myers, FL because we were attending a wedding. The apartment was exactly what we were looking for. We were able to walk to Publix for groceries, to downtown Ft Myers, and to the wedding venue. The apartment was clean and the pillows and mattress were very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay very much.

A Stay at Flamingo

I have stayed in several of the other apartments in the other building; so I was a little disappointed in the Flamingo. The property is clean and well maintained, but the walls are thin and everything being done in apartment Turtle can be heard. T.V. is tiny and inconveniently placed for viewing - better instructions for the use of the T.V. would be helpful. For the purpose of my visit, it is close to the facilities I needed to be at and easy to get into and out of. Thanks for the stay.

I wish I could give 4.5 stars! The apartment is clean and neat — and beautifully updated. We were very comfortable and enjoyed the short walk to shops and dining. Only 2 small disappointments: 1. We would have liked a TV in the bedroom and 2. The bathroom doesn’t vent very well, which we believe is the reason we found a very damp towel hanging in the bathroom when we arrived. Just keep the bathroom door cracked open when you shower and that seems to cure the problem. We would definitely stay there a second time!

Das Apartment ist ein wunderschönes gemütliches kleine Wohnung. In der Einrichtung und Gestaltung liegt sehr viel Herzblut und Liebe. Es war alles da, was man in der Küche braucht. Café und Filter. Sehr viele Handtücher waren in einem Regal.Wunderschönes gutes Bett, super Matratze und tolle luftige Bettwäsche. Man konnte für 1,50$ waschen und die Benutzung des Trockners war kostenlos. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und würden wieder kommen. Es gab noch ein kleiner Pool. Wir waren nur 3 Tage da, weil wir machten eine Rundreise durch Florida.

Stayed in the Flamingo unit for 10 days in January 2022. Very nice unit, safe neighborhood, convenient to shopping and downtown Ft. Myers . Mgmt responsive to needs. Do hear other people in the other 2 units of the cottage. Would stay here again.

Comfortable and convenient

We enjoyed our stay at the Flamingo apartment. It was very clean, the bed was super comfortable, and the kitchen was well equipped. We enjoyed the convenience of the location--close to the waterfront and to the historic downtown. The pool was clean and refreshing, and the on-site laundry was convenient. Thank you for a relaxing stay!

This rental was very clean and had everything you need. The only negative was the tv- cable tv needed to get decent picture. Couldn’t watch the Olympics. Disappointing.
