Beautiful Condo Directly Across from Siesta Key Beach at Our House At The Beach. Located on the 2nd floor facing the Gulf of Mexico. The building has an elevator in the secure lobby.

Watch the sunset from the wrap around balconies in this beautifully decorated two bedroom condo directly across from sun kissed Siesta Key Beach! Spacious and inviting with ceiling to floor sliders on two entire walls for incredible tropical views. The new kitchen including all new appliances, fixtures, counters & flooring was completed in December 2019, new flooring in living room and dining room installed in 2022. Plenty of chairs & loungers are provided on both balconies to relax, and there is also a table & chairs for dining outside.The condo features 2 bedrooms & bathrooms on opposite sides of the unit for added privacy. Sleeps 6 comfortably with a king bed in the master, 2 twins in the guest bedroom, and a queen sleeper sofa in the living room. A full size washer and dryer are provided in the unit so you can pack light. Free WiFi and cable are provided, and TV's are in the living room and both bedrooms.

On site amenities include a heated Olympic size pool, tennis courts, outdoor gas grill, gazebo, and covered parking. The condo is within walking distance either by sidewalk or beach to shopping, dining and night life fun at Siesta Key Village. Hop on the free Siesta Key Breeze trolley in front of the complex and ride to Turtle Beach, Siesta Key Village, and all points in between.

Had issue with keys unlocking the door, garbage disposal didn’t work upon checkin. Found previous occupants stuff left so question how well this unit was cleaned prior to our arrival. Had to call management company multiple times for them to come fix the garbage disposal and luckily they left another key that actually worked after fixing it. Unit need to be badly updated for the price paid per week. Toaster and coffee maker did not fully work. Location across from the beach was great. Would stay in building again but not this unit

Great location!

We enjoyed our spring break in this centrally located, well stocked unit. We had everything that we needed. The free bus has a stop right outside so getting around the island was no problem. I had a question at checking but Holly answered the question immediately. Would recommend!

Our overall experience was a nightmare from the time we arrived. It was 10:30 at night, not familiar with the area. Directions to find rental office to pick up keys, were not clearly marked, even with GPS. We found “Our House at the Beach” with no clear directions as to how to get into building. Drove around trying to find lobby, which there was not. Had no idea how to get into building. Found our parking spot, looking at the back of building, no signs telling us where to go, what we noticed was service entrance that did say was to be closed at all times. Finally another vehicle pulled in and asked for assistance. They showed us how to get into building, going through a service hallway to get to door to elevator. Description of the property stated there was carts to take luggage to unit. Where were the carts, no where to be found. The next day we had gotten groceries, still no idea where carts were. There was a wagon in unit that we used to take groceries to unit. The office person was not there. The next day when office person, Debbie, was there we asked where carts were. She directed us to another service door, carts were tucked around a corner. No sign saying that is where carts were kept. Construction started that Monday replacing exterior doors and windows, front of building and back. We were never contacted about this happening. Dirty, noisy, starting before 8:00am, all day for the two weeks we were there. Could not sit out on Lanai because of noise, dirt or inside.

We do want to clarify a few points for future guests. Detailed check-in instructions, including a property map and directions to the main lobby entrance, were provided prior to arrival. The lobby entrance is located at the front of the building and is well lit. Guests are also encouraged to contact us directly anytime with questions or issues during check-in, as we are available 24/7 by phone or text. The on-site office services only guests who book directly through the condominium complex and maintains regular business hours only, so they are unfortunately unable to assist with independent reservations managed through our company, especially after hours. We were also unaware that the condominium association had scheduled exterior window and door replacement work during your stay, and we apologize for the inconvenience this caused. The project has since been completed. We appreciate your comments, as they help us continue improving communication and the guest experience.

Perfect getaway

This condo was comfortable for 6 adults. It was immaculate at check-in, and the check-in and out process was extremely easy. There was a closet stocked with beach towels, beach chairs, umbrella, beach toys....anything you would need for a day at the beach. One of the most beautiful beaches in the country is just across the road, location is great!

Great Location, very comfortable place. Kitchen a little small, but very clean. We had 6 adults there and we were all very comfortable. I was pleasantly surprised at how stocked it was with stuff, such as toilet paper, garbage bags, dishwasher soap, paper towels, napkins, coffee filters, and even soap in the shower. That was refreshing...I didn't have to buy it. We're big fans for Siesta Key beach, it was so nice to just walk across the street. We truly enjoyed our stay there.

Siesta key

The condo needs more updating and they need to update the keys to get into the building and the room. It is very difficult to get in. Also you need to disclose that there is a giant parking lot in front of the condo. During the weekend and the 4th of July there was a lot of traffic.

Great vacation. Already planning a return!

The condo was in a great location- right across the street from the beach. We had plenty of space for the four of us. The two patios were great for sunset cocktails and morning coffee. The village is close by, but a bit of a hike to walk (doable though); we just drove or took a quick Uber ride. There is a free trolley also. The Village has fantastic restaurants/ shopping/ cafes. The pool area was nice; plenty of chairs and shade if desired. I will say it would have been nice if they provided more than one trash bag or one roll of toilet paper. We had to run back out and buy them, which isn’t a big deal, but would have been a nice touch. Also if you are a beach goer- there is not a beach umbrella provided. This was have been appreciated since we flew and were unable to bring our own. We thought about buying one, but chose to sit by the pool instead. Overall, this condo was just what we were looking forward and we will definitely return. Thanks for a great stay!

Outdated/Cluttered

Unfortunately would not recommend this place to anyone. We have stayed at Our House multiple times before but this was our first time renting this unit. The apartment is extremely outdated and could use many updates. The couch is broken, the pullout sleeper was a thin piece of foam that could not be slept on. The carpets are purposely not shown in the listing because they are absolutely disgusting - brown stains on heavy traffic areas, desperately needs to be ripped out. Hot water in the kitchen would not work. We tried every single dryer setting and the dryer would not heat up to dry the clothes/towels. When contacting the property manager about it, I was told they had that issue before and to just try a different setting. There is no space in the kitchen to put away any groceries because there are way too many unnecessary dishes. Closets had personal items/luggage stored in them. We were very disappointed with this listing as we usually love staying at Our House.

Not what we hoped for!

This condo is in a great location, however the furnishings were fair to poor. The king mattress has a large deep indentation along the one side, like trying to sleep on a slope. The living room furniture was very uncomfortable and we sat on dining room chairs for 3 weeks. Furniture needs to be replaced. The chandelier needs an electrician to repair 2 bulbs with guts hanging down. In the bedroom, four vertical blinds were missing, making it difficult to stay asleep with sunrise. The guest room has exterior building lights shining right inside making sleep difficult there. The lamps were not all working. The freezer door handle fell off, the whole toilet roll assembly and the towel rack fell off the wall, no lights in laundry area, difficult to impossible to slide vertical blinds in dining area without more maintenance. In the kitchen, there is no reserved area for your food, so you basically are living out of boxes. Cluttered with unnecessary bowls, etc. There were no cleaning supplies, no kitchen dishrag. I cannot honestly recommend this condo in it's current condition.

Terrible Experience

I will not rent from this owner or through Home & Condo Rentals, Inc. in the future. The sockets in both bathrooms didn’t work, a water leak from the dining room ceiling. The laundry room had to be re-cleaned as it had built up lint/dust and old, dirty water in the dryer hose bucket; the lanais had not been swept or mopped and there was green mold on the outside wall. The major issue was the noise and cannot be minimized. The homeowner association notified ALL owners in mid-April that the building was being pressure washed and painted well in advance of charging my Visa on April 30th for my stay May 25 – June 1, 2019. Neither the owner nor the rental company notified me of this prior to check-in. I learned of it when I opened the envelope to get my key out on check-in day! I should have been contacted in advance and given the opportunity to cancel with full refund so I could make reservations elsewhere. In my opinion, this was dishonest. My daughter and I could not relax with all the noise of the beeping from the lyft the workers used from 8am to 5or 6pm the entire week. Beware of the agreement they want you to acknowledge and electronically sign. It puts the tenant at risk more than the owner or rental company. The owner insulted me by offering to reimburse me a very low dollar amount for financial restitution just so she/he could say restitution was offered. What an insult! And no – I did not accept this demeaning offer!

The pressure washing/painting on the outside of the building has been completed. We were informed about this work 2 days prior to guest arrival. The cleaning crew was sent over to re-clean the laundry room & balconies. On-site maintenance was unable to see any evidence of a water leak in the dining room (the guest indicated to him that the leak had stopped), our company maintenance went over and reset the GFCI in the bathroom. The owner offered fair financial compensation due to noise complaints, which was refused as being too low. Our guest's comfort and satisfaction are important to us, as evidenced by many positive reviews, but unfortunately reasonable efforts are not always successful.

A bit outdated. Problems with light fixtures. I had to work the breaker box a few times to get thing

Not horrible, but a few things wrong as mentioned above. Master bedroom cover was dirty with dry blood stains, there was a additional cover to replace it. Seems there is electrical problems in which that I had to deal with in the master bedroom. The blinds are shot so be very careful with opening and closing them. Location is great but not sure if I will rent again without upgrades.

My apologies for the stained bed cover. We always provide extra linen, but the cleaning crew should not have put the stained cover on the bed. We have had no further issues with the circuit breaker tripping. We appreciate you troubleshooting it with us over the phone and flipping the switch.

A deep clean has been done on the condo since this review submission. The carpets & couch were steam cleaned, new pillows were purchased, the closets have been organized. The small water stain on the living room ceiling is from an earlier leak from the sliders, which the condo association repaired. We take our guest's observations seriously and remedy issues as soon as we can. Our cleaners needed extra time do do the deep clean on this unit, which we had done when we had a break in renters. We are available by phone, text & email 24/7.

Great property manager but very poor building manger combined with the noisy parking lot ..

The property was obviously in need of updating both style and function, the shower dripped/leaked all day and night and some lights needed the bulbs changed due to not working , property manager Holly Harris was very informative and helpful with check in/ out and answering any concerns ,the parking lot across the street was very noisy and seems to be a hangout for young car enthusiasts with all night burnouts and very loud music the local police had to disperse the crowd every night at midnight, the building manager failed to give a parking pass and argued with me when I asked for one Andrea I believe was her name located in the bottom floor of the east building, very rude and refused to issue me a parking pass , overall I would never stay at this location again .

I'm sorry to hear that the noise across the street was so bad. That is not a normal situation for Siesta Key public beach after dark. I'm also sorry to hear that the on-site management person was rude to you about obtaining your parking pass. We have no control over the on-site mgmt. team, and that is not acceptable. The location was within walking distance of the town and literally right across the street from the public beach parking lot. There was a lot of noise late at night with cars racing up and down the street and in the parking lot.

Great location

If you want to visit Siesta Key Beach, the location of this condo is perfect. The beach is right across the street. The pool and tennis courts were nice to have as well after a day a the beach. The check-in process was easy and the management was quick to respond to questions. The unit was a good size for our family of 4. We would stay here again if we vacation at Siesta Key again.

The location of this property is excellent! It is directly across the street from Siesta Key beach. One of the bathroom sinks was broken and leaking and the carpet and bathroom floors need to be replaced. The balconies are awesome. Overall, a good place to stay for a beach vacation.
