Stay ocean-side and enjoy many benefits of an oceanfront complex without paying oceanfront prices. Guests staying in Ocean One 402 enjoy a landscape view and won't have to cross a street to reach the Atlantic Ocean and the beach. King beds in the master bedroom and bedroom 2, twin beds in bedroom 3, twin beds in bedroom 4, and three full-sized bathrooms. After hours in the surf, vacationers rinse under the outdoor shower located on the complex's private beach walkway and then dip into the oceanfront swimming pool.
Ocean One has added a brand new grilling area to the complex just beyond the pool.
Ocean One is a five story elevator building located in South Forest Beach. Among the amenities offered throughout Hilton Head Island, Ocean One is one block from the Coligny Beach Market, a quaint downtown area that offers guests a wide selection of restaurants, shopping venues, and entertainment for all ages. This up-to-date property has newly renovated kitchen and baths featuring warm hardwood cabinetry, new appliances and fixtures, granite countertops, and custom ceramic tile.

The condo was roomy for the five of us. However the condo could use a deep cleaning. Daughter found what she thought was a dead roach in her bath tub. Elevator was out of service a couple of days. Loved the access to the beach.

Overall, it’s a great condo. Very convenient location. It definitely should have been cleaner upon arrival. The beach was surprisingly crowded. I didn’t realize it was so close to a public beach access. Great value for the price point.

Icebreaker tournament

What a wonderful place to stay. Was as good as advertised. Only one issue would be if we could check in without stopping into the office. Besides that it was great. Would rent and recommend this place for sure.

HHI Retreat

Great stay and great location of property. The rooms were spacious with easy access to the beach, pool and coligny. There not downside was that the washing machine did not work. We submitted a message about it but did not hear back. Hope our message helps get it fixed for the next guest! Overall, very minor compared to the enjoyment we had.

We had a few issues...one of the hinges to the closet in the King BR near dining table is stripped out. We tightened but it really needs to be fixed. Unit needs a broom. Coffee pot is adequate but doesn’t get very hot. Balcony furniture is very old with rusty tables. Balconies need to be cleaned thoroughly. Also unit could stand a very good cleaning all over, especially behind chairs, behind TV in Living Room (where something had spilled and dried on the wall) and under beds. There was an empty Gatorade container left under one of the beds from a previous guest. We love the spaciousness and location of this unit but want to bring these issues to your attention.

Disappointed

A number of concerns about the process and the property. 1. As previously raised I was quoted a $ amount in Cdn currency but charged that amount in US currency. VRBO promised me a call back regarding this but they have yet to contact me. This was 2 weeks ago. 2. We waited until after 5 PM at which time I contacted the rental office about the availability of the unit. I was to have been texted as soon as it was available. At that point they told me the unit had been available for some time and gave me the code over the phone. 3. Major construction occurring on the balconies on the pool side of the building. We were not informed of this until after our final payment was processed. I'm sure this work was planned months in advance but we were not advised. It was both noisy and dusty all week. 4. Unit was large and well laid out, and worked well for our family. Of note the ice maker was broken and leaked, the dishwasher doesn't work well, and the living room furniture is very tired and needs replacement. Overall given the price of the unit we were disappointed and felt it was not good value.

Seashore Vacations does not believe this review represents Ocean One 402, the owners, or our company accurately. Firstly, we are not responsible for the charge issue that this guest experienced. VRBO quoted in cdn currency, however we only handle US currency because we are an American based company. This currency issue is on VRBO's end and does not have anything to do with our company or the unit. We are also unsure what happened with the check-in process with this guest. Our receptionists do not recall the phone conversation. However, we do text or call guests immediately when a unit is ready unless there is an issue that needs to be handled before the guest checks in. We would not just hold a guest out of a clean and inspected unit without a reason. As for the construction, Seashore Vacations and the owners are kind of stuck in the middle. Ocean One is going through a major structural construction process that has been going on since January of this year. Unfortunately, the timeline of the project is vague and crews work January-May and September-December. However, unit 402 is currently not affected by the on-going project. There is a little bit of noise, but currently the crews are working on the opposite side of the building so the dust and noise is minimal. We are disappointed that this guest was not satisfied with their stay however, we do not believe this review accurately depicts the accommodations at 402 Ocean One.

It was decent and very roomy and comfortable. Maybe needs some new couches in the future and the washing machine definitely needs cleaned (front loaders gather mold quickly) but we enjoyed our stay!

Great vacation

Great vacation, location, condo size. The cleanliness when we got there could use some work, and the family room couch pillows and area rug were off-putting, worn and stained, didn't want to cozy up in there, but an easy fix for the owners.
