Welcome to our Sunset Bay retreat home! The quite side of Gulf Shores/Ft. Morgan

Escape to our charming beach house, perfectly situated near pristine Gulf beaches, hiking trails, and local dining hotspots. Whether you're building sandcastles, exploring the Alabama Coastal Birding Trail, or simply soaking up the sun, there’s something for everyone to enjoy here.

Bedrooms & Sleeping Arrangements:

Master Bedroom: Unwind in a comfy, firm king-sized bed with a wall-mounted Roku TV for private viewing.

Second Bedroom: A cozy, cheerful yellow-themed room with a queen-sized bed and ample closet space.

Third Bedroom: Features a queen-sized bed, an attached shower-only bathroom, and a laundry area. Note: This room runs slightly warmer than the rest of the home.

Sunroom Bedroom: Offers a king-sized memory foam bed, office space, a small TV, and a window AC unit. Perfect for early risers. Includes an extra tri-fold queen floor mattress disguised as a seating area.

Living Room: Sofa-sleeper pulls out to accommodate two additional guests comfortably.

Full stocked Kitchen. Coffee drip, Pour over, K Cup options. Coffee & Creamer provided. Two fridges available. 2nd one is in red shed.

Bench style dining room table. Sits 8 and converts to pool table. Sticks & balls in bench.

Outdoor Oasis:

Step out onto the back deck and enjoy the peaceful sounds of chirping birds and bayside waves. Fire up the outdoor grill, gather around the fire pit (pickup wood stack at Rouses), or soak up the sunshine in the above-ground pool. Kids and adults alike will love the game/movie room in the tiny Red Shed.

Amenities:

Beach gear included: toys, chairs, floats, boogie boards, goggles, wagon, cooler, lightweight canopy tent (please clean/replace if used or broken). Located in closet on front porch by entrance.

Starter pack of toiletries and essentials provided (guests should supplement for longer stays).

Ample parking available beside and beneath the home.

Owner's vehicles are parked by the gray shed and are out of guest paths.

Fort Morgan Historic Site: Just minutes away, rich with Civil War history and an ideal shelling spot.

Bon Secour National Wildlife Refuge: Enjoy hiking trails, wildlife, and hidden beach gems just across the street.

Gulf State Park & Hugh S. Branyon Trails: Explore over 15 miles of trails through marshes, dunes, and swamps—great for spotting deer, bobcats, and alligators. Self serve Bikes readily available for rental. Walking paths.

Dauphin Island Ferry: Take a scenic ride to explore Fort Gaines, the Sea Lab, Estuarium, and more. 45 minute ride. Plan as wait can get long upon returning.

Fishing & Boating: Charter trips, kayak adventures, and tubing from Fort Morgan Marina.

Pro Tip: Beat the crowds by dining before 4:30 PM or after 7:30 PM in summer months. Explore less popular spots further out. Most dining options do not take reservations.
