The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Turn off all the power except the front door outside light Empty your trash into the bear-proof metal container next to the mailbox. Close and locked all the doors
Please wash the used towels, sheet sets, sofa covers, and the table cloth before you leave.

Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Turn off the heater before you leave. Turn off all the lights inside before you leave. Otherwise, there'll be a $50 fine.
Snow days, please clear the buildup snow in front of the garbage bin and ensure it could be open all the way. The snow shovel is in the laundry room.
Dump the trash when the trash bag is almost full, not to accumulate to the last day. There will be a $50 fine for each additional trash bag.

Great house and location, however the sliding door in the living room was wide open when we came in like if someone uninvited just ran out, which made us question our security, the kitchen supplies were limited, only one small frying pan not good even for frying eggs and a huge cooking pan. We bought a small cooking pan and left it in the house. The instructions told to put recyclable into blue bags but no blue bags were provided. Both shampoo and conditioner containers were filled with the same soap. We had to argue with the owner to give us the door access code day or two before in case we didn’t have connection. And most weird the owner requested that we wash all towels, sheets, table cloth and sofa cover before we leave, and she repeated that request 3 times. Also it took owner in some cases day or two to reply.

The good:Great location, responsive host.The bad:Everything else.The host was really easy to get ahold of and was willing to be flexible with dates if I needed it. Everything was looking good until I checked into the house and tried to use the shower. The downstairs shower was just literally broken and leaking into the tub which wasn’t draining. The faucet was broken off and sitting on the tub. The entire bathroom smelled like mold and mildew and I had to open the window cause it was so bad. Ok, not a huge deal at that point there’s two bathrooms right? Well the upstairs shower was also broken. The faucet is definitely not to code and is just a valve that someone got at the hardware store for a water line and not meant to a bathroom shower. The hot and cold didnt work and then the host told me that they ordered some “glue” and that I could fix it on my own if I wanted to use the shower because they couldn’t get there for another day or two. First of all, glue is not a fix for a broken faucet and secondly, why is it the guests responsibility to fix the faucet if they want to use the shower that was advertised in the listing. It led to no shower for 2 days until I could finally get the upstairs to work after multiple times playing around with the pipes. After that whole experience it was an ok stay but for the money they’re charging at that place you could get a hotel room where you have working appliances and you don’t have to clean the whole place before you go.
