The cabin was well-stocked and updated with a new bathroom and kitchen. We rented a cabin right on the pond, which was beautiful! The pond is spectacular! We were able to watch daily sunsets. It was a bit small, but offered everything to be comfortable. One complaint is that there is a gap between the house and the outside, enclosed/screened in porch which allows flies and other insects to enter the porch area, making it difficult to sit outside with the lights on, as insects are attracted to light.Another issue is that, if you struggle to walk or do hills, this would not be a great rental for you. To access many of the cabins there is a very steep hill which made it difficult to bring luggage and other items up and down. Perhaps installing railroad ties to create long steps is a suggestion to make accessing cabins easier.Otherwise, I highly recommend this property for a rugged, frills-free stay!
