This was a comfortable enough place, however, the listing did not make clear that the bathroom was on the second floor. Not good for seniors. No safety bars in the bathtub/shower. Also not good for seniors. Had we known this, we would not have rented. The screen doors did not properly close, at times rattled in the wind. While the place, overall, was pretty clean, the kitchen was not. Counters were sticky and had to be wiped down before placing anything on them. Also, the underside of the microwave had not been cleaned in a long time. Made me not want to cook there.

Thanks Trudy, The listing does in fact state that this is a three level duplex with the bathroom on second level. Sorry that was an inconvenience for you. This home is not handicap accessible, which also is placed in the listing. That might need to be included in your next search for accommodations if that’s is what you require. We take pride in our cleaning practices so the kitchen not being clean is far fetched. We thank you for staying though and hope your next visit is more a more enjoyable experience.
Thank you for your generous review. I’m thankful I was NOT able to host you. The fact that you and your family violated the house rules after only having had access for literally 2 hours is amazing to me. The rules via VRBO as well as posted inside the residence clearly state, NO PETS and NO SMOKING. Both rules violated upon checking in. Obviously, Vrbo agrees as they were provided the ring footage and suggested your reservation be canceled and requested you all be removed immediately with no refund. VRBO also received the pictures of the sink almost being flooded with towels and the garbage left behind after you were asked to leave. Hopefully no other host have to experience this with you. There are consequences to breaking rules. Unfortunately some of us learn the hard way.
