Welcome to our spacious and private lakefront home in Herbster, Wisconsin; designed for comfort, relaxation, and stunning Lake Superior views. This rustic yet modern getaway features three bedrooms and two full bathrooms, ideal for families, couples, or groups.

The main level includes a cozy queen bedroom with an attached private bath and its own walkout porch; perfect for morning coffee or quiet evenings by the water. Upstairs, the large primary bedroom includes a king bed and a twin trundle, while the third bedroom features another queen bed. A second full bathroom is also located upstairs.

The open-concept living area offers panoramic lake views and direct access to a walkout porch from the living room, creating a seamless indoor-outdoor experience. Enjoy a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, and all-new mattresses throughout for a restful and convenient stay.

Stunning cabin stay

What a wonderful place to stay! The view and sunsets were incredible. The host was quick to respond. The house was clean and comfy. Great location between Bayfield and Duluth. We stayed there with our two teens and my parents and we all loved it. Would definitely stay again!

We had a great experience with this property. The area is located near many waterfall and hiking opprtunities as well as little towns with beaches and activities. Is a 30-40 minute drive to Bayfield but is way more quiet and less busy at the beaches. The house rooms were very well kept and the house was spacious with things to do and use like the large fire pit. Sunset views were beaufitful as well.

Lake front Oasis!

What a beautiful property! We enjoyed our 4 day stay. Beds and bedding were comfortable, kitchen was well stocked with everything you need to cook, the owner was super fast to reply to our questions, and the views are unmatched. It is so peaceful and serene. Our favorite thing to do was light a fire and watch the sunset over the lake each evening. The location is great if you want peace and quiet, but close enough to plenty of activities.

This lake house was beautiful, clean and the views of Lake Superior were spectacular! We had great communication with the owners before, during and after our visit. The bedding and towels were very clean and everything looked very professional. We have 7 in our family and easily fit in the three bedroom. Our three year old slept in the sofa with pull out bed in the master. Our kids loved the axe throwing and checking out the beach. Thank you for a great vacation over MEA break!

We had a wonderful stay and would definitely rent again! You could tell that the owners had put a lot of care into updating the house & the property, which was clean and comfortable. There was plenty of room for 6 of us to eat, sleep and hang out with a spacious kitchen, dining area and living room with wood-burning stove. We loved the fire pit area overlooking the lake! The huge garage was a welcome feature, as we could park our fishing boat overnight without having to deal with a wet cover due to storms. Owner communication was great - thank you so much!

I stayed for 8 days and had family and friends join me throughout the week, from ages 5 to 79. This home was wonderful for everyone — it felt welcoming and comfortable right from the start.There was plenty of space for all our things, which made it easy to settle in and feel at home. The furnishings were comfortable, and the view of the lake — especially the sunsets — was simply breathtaking. We often found ourselves just sitting and soaking it in.Communication with the host was excellent, which gave us peace of mind and made everything go smoothly. We loved spending time at the nearby beaches and took a couple of fun day trips to Bayfield.This property was the perfect balance of relaxation and adventure, and I’d come back in a heartbeat.

I reside 1.5 hours away but make every effort to visit the area frequently even before we owned the cabin. My wife and I, married for over six years, are parents to two boys aged 4 and 6.

With a background in sales, we ventured into hosting after acquiring this cabin. So far, it has been a rewarding journey, filled with wonderful interactions with our guests as well as some amazing personal experiences.

Why they chose this property

We adore Lake Superior and the opportunities it provides for outdoor activities!! This area on the south shore has a great stretch of shoreline that is just beautiful.
Our family has cherished countless wonderful memories in this area that started even before we owned this cabin.
Being avid fans of the outdoors, this house serves as our ideal family retreat, allowing us to unwind and immerse ourselves in nature.
The expansive views are an added delight.

What makes this property unique

This is a real retreat! Being here makes you feel like you are in your own little haven. The privacy is remarkable and the views are amazing. Nothing like being right on the big Lake Superior.
