Excellent location. Perfect unit for a couple, any additional guests would make for tight quarters. Couch was tiny, but we sat outdoors most of the time so it wasn’t a problem. Would definitely go back.

Excellent, clean, updated unit. Very nice beach, pool, and chairs. Only thing that could be better was the couch, not very comfortable.Overall EXCELLENT place for one to two people to stay with private pool and beach in the area for the price.

Deceiving listing

There’s good and not so good about this place! First of all, the location is amazing! The unit opens up to the pool area and is steps away from a gorgeous beach! Now, the not so good…. we arrived around 3:30am to find that the unit looked nothing like what the photos on the listing show. If you are seeing a bright white/grey decor and a separate small bedroom, you are seeing the wrong unit. We messaged the owner making sure we were in the correct unit bc the unit we were in was definitely not what we saw in the photos. They did confirm they had used photos from the unit next door and that they were planning on doing the same to this unit but had not done it yet. It’s also a studio with a full size Murphy bed not a one bedroom and no king size Murphy bed as the listing says. Supposedly we were the first to stay in the unit since they’d bought it. I do feel like they should have put the correct photos and the correct description of it being a studio w a full size Murphy bed. All that said, it’s not horrible, just not what you are seeing in the photos. The location made it bearable for us to finish out our wknd stay. The owner said they would work with us to make it right and have not as of yet and it’s been over a week.

We want to clarify that while we understand your concern, only three of the listing photos were inaccurate at the time — the rest were indeed of the exact unit. We had just recently purchased the property, and while we did accidentally include a few pictures from the neighboring, nearly identical unit, our intent was never to mislead. The layout and decor are very similar, and updates are ongoing. We also want to note that we offered you a free night’s stay and a discount on a future visit as a gesture of goodwill. During our communication, we specifically asked if there was anything wrong with the unit itself, and your response was that "there wasn’t anything specifically wrong: — it just didn’t look like what you expected from a few of the photos. This condo is a beautifully updated space and is just steps from the beach, with direct access to the pool — something that many of our guests truly enjoy. We are confident that for the location, amenities, and value, you won’t find a better deal on Longboat Key.
