About this property

Serenity Bay, Keowee Lakefront Cabin, Covered Dock, Kayaks, Clean, Near Clemson

We have been renting our home since 2013 with overwhelmingly 5-star reviews. The reviews have frequently commented on the cleanliness, spaciousness and comfort of the beds and furniture. The 3-story layout allows for private sleeping or hanging out areas, but also a large great room for all to gather together. Our renters especially comment on our covered deck as their favorite hangout.

We have a covered dock to keep your boat protected from rain and sun, which is just a few easy steps from the house. Many houses on the lake have a very steep and or long walk to the lake. Our house is about 50 steps from the lake with a very easy grade.

Another nice feature of our house is the cove that we sit in. It is wide and deep enough for comfortable floating and swimming but does not get fast boat traffic and waves like other homes on the bigger parts of the lake.
We also have 4 kayaks available for our renters to use.

We spend a lot of time and effort to keep our house maintained, clean and updated. If you choose, we think you will be extremely happy with your stay.

3 car limit on driveway. Additional short term parking at end of street. No parking on grass or landscape.

Family Reunion

The residence and its setting are beautiful. The house is exceptionally comfortable. We enjoyed many happy meals and good conversations there. We loved our day on the lake using a rented pontoon boat. Paddle boarding in the slough and fishing from the dock added joy to our days.

So Much Fun

We rented jetskis and had a blast. We hung out on the porch as a family, the young adults made use of the fire and that hang-out room downstairs! The beds were super comfortable and the kayaks and SUP let me get my tan on. Thanks so much for a wonderful graduation adventure!

Lake Keowee Friends Getaway

House was great for 4 adult couples - ample hangout space inside and on various porches. Everything was clean and well-labled for ease of use. Owner was very responsive and helped us to arrange parking for an extra car. Great views of the lake. We wanted to use the outdoor firepit but rain didn't allow it, but maybe next time!

Everything We Wanted!

This is the best rental property we have ever rented. The layout was perfect for the three generations in our group. The house was spotless. The view of the lake was beautiful. The beds were very comfortable. We loved this house and hope to stay again in the summer.

Clemson football weekend

Beautiful property. Very clean. 25 minutes from the stadium. Kids loved it with the fire pit , kayaks and games. Highly recommend.

Great family house

We love the front porch looking out over the lake. We spent most of our time on the porch, comfortable seating and we were even able to eat out there several nights. Wonderful house would greatly recommend it to anyone.

My family absolutely loved this beautiful house on the lake! The house was very clean, well-maintained, and well stocked with everything you could need. The cove was quiet and all of the neighbors were wonderful. Will be booking again for sure!

Lake side family get together

Our family of 8 had a perfect getaway at this lakeside cabin retreat on Lake Keowee. It was located in a quiet cove with a dock for our pontoon boat. The house was fully stocked ( esp the kitchen ) for anything we may have needed …. There was ample space on three levels for sleeping arrangements There is not a large gathering area indoors for a large group but lovely outdoor decks and a fire pit to spread out after a day on the lake Would definitely stay again. Beautiful - comfortable - quiet and relaxing.

Awesome Family Vacation!

We had a four generation group staying for a week at Serenity Bay. My mother-in-law is 87 and she was able to navigate the property easily. Her bedroom was on the main floor with a bathroom close by. We always make sure she has assistance when doing stairs. The entryway is easy for someone who is mobile. She was able to go down the outside stairs to the firepit to enjoy smores and watch the fishing at the dock. Our son and his family had their own space in the lower floor which worked out great. They brought their new boat and went out every day fishing the beautiful Lake Keowee. It was so quiet and peaceful! We took out the property owner's kayaks and enjoyed exploring the close by fingers. The owner's have everything you can possibly want! Easy to get to, ample parking and plenty of room to spread out in the house. The upstairs master suite was awesome! The loft outside the master was nice and cozy! This is the cleanest cabin we have ever rented. Hats off to the housekeeper! The owners were very responsive when I had questions and very clear when I was trying to do figure out if my mother in law would be able to navigate the property. The boat was stored at a nearby marina with no problem. We chose this property based on location and how beautiful the pictures looked and the fact that we could all have our own space (with doors!). The pictures don't do it justice. We definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a wonderful vacation away from it all! I have rented many properties over the years and this fabulous spot is one of my very favorites. The house is beautiful and the setting is beyond gorgeous! We loved everything about it including the wonderful next door neighbors who were so helpful and even took us on a boat ride to show us this gorgeous lake none of us had ever been to.

Another great week on Lake Keowee

Had a blast on our vacation at Lake Keowee. The house was great-we had two families staying and were all very comfortable. We opted for a little larger house this year as the kids are all teens now and this was a perfect size for the 7 of us. In a quiet cove we had a great time using our boat, floating around the dock, using the paddleboard and exploring the lake. House is well equipped. We would stay here again.

We had such a great time at this rental. The location of the house is in a very quiet cove. The fishing was great, the swimming was safe, and the convenience of the dock were top notch! The home had everything we could need and so much more! We can’t wait to come back!

We live in Cincinnati, Ohio where Dave is a system's analyst and Susan is a retired fourth grade teacher. We enjoy most outdoor activities and love spending time with our friends and family at the lake.

Why they chose this property

We fell in love with our house because of its warm, rustic, mountain feel, yet with modern amenities that make it comfortable. Our favorite part of the house is the covered porch overlooking the beautiful views of the lake. We also love our covered dock and how it is only a few easy steps to the house.
