Welcome to The Porch A (This is a duplex property. Check out Porch B if you have friends and family that want to be close, but want their own space)– This is a cozy 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom retreat nestled in a quiet, gated community. While peaceful and secluded, it’s just a short walk to the nearby waterpark and only 1.2 miles from downtown’s shops, restaurants, and lively attractions.

Take in scenic views of Mount Yonah as you relax on the front porch with a good book, dine al fresco, or unwind by the indoor fireplace. For a fun outdoor adventure, enjoy tubing down the beautiful Chattahoochee River—just minutes away.

This pet-friendly home welcomes up to two small dogs (combined weight up to 50 lbs) and is part of a 2-unit duplex. Traveling with a larger group? Book both units together for extra space and comfort.

This is in a great location. Just 1 mile from downtown Helen. The accommodations are very nice and we had all the amenities of home. We had excellent communication with the host. We will definitely look to book this home again for future trips

Great stay for family

My mom is staying with us for the summer in Columbus, GA and I wanted to take a short road trip somewhere cute in Georgia that would work for our dog and baby too so we settled on Helen. This was the perfect place to stay. Very quiet and comfortable plus a short drive to town and other attractions. The screened in back patio was such a nice place to sit in the morning and drink tea while nursing my baby. Loved the guest book and being able to see others recommendations/experiences. The home was nice and had plenty of room. It was nice that a highchair and playpen was available although we did bring our own portable high chair and a play yard for our daughter to sleep in. Also appreciated there being dog bowls! It was a great stay for the whole family!
